India we must be grateful that the core beliefs, theoretical rigour and
application of the Vaastu Shastras are still
available, though in a depleted form. From the study of texts, dialogues with
practitioners and field application of the concepts I have been able to
reconstruct the overview of the Vaastu Shilpa Shastras and
give a guideline for present day application. There is a great deal of
resistance and deep feelings of distrust from the trained designers in the
'modern institutesÕ toward the assumptions and symbolism of the traditional
paradigm. It is almost as if they feel threatened that their hegemony would be
displaced. Are their fears valid? Is the basis of the Vaastu Shastras questionable
in its present day application? Is it a meaningless mumbo jumbo in the
'scientificÕ climate of today?

Kundalini Signs and Symptoms Many
individuals whose Kundalini has been unexpectedly unleashed DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS
HAPPENING, and the prevailing social ignorance about this multidimensional
transformative process makes it hard to find medical or alternative health
practitioners or spiritual advisors who recognize the symptoms, particularly
when they are strongly physical. Many people know that the risen Kundalini
flings open gates to all sorts of mystical, paranormal and magical vistas, but
few realize it can also dramatically impact the body.

BabHarbinger of a New World Order -
Bab
In Persia, a young merchant, the Bab (literally, the
Gate), announced on May 23, 1844, that He was the Bearer of a long-promised
Divine Revelation destined to transform the spiritual life of the human race.
Now, His advent is viewed as the gateway through which the process of thousands
of years of Divine revelation has attained its fruition for refining human
nature.

Perception, Spiritual Insight, and Inspiration Above the rational mind and below the soul realm is an
intermediary plane of consciousness that I call the intuitional. It is very
difficult to characterize this realm, because it transcends mental concepts but
is still not a realm of being like the soul. The intuitional plane is the
"highest" or most subtle and universal part of the created worlds. Although
God and souls are the truly creative agents of the universe, we could say that
the process of creating begins with the intuition and then moves to concepts,
feeling responses, images and shapes, and finally physical manifestation. Thus
intuition is a key to initiating creativity.

The New Age
Semanticists,
theologians and the third estate have been drafting theses and definitions for
almost two thousand years with regard to Christianity. In fact it most probably
would have been easier and more feasible to outline what Christianity was not.
Similar problems exist concerning any universally acceptable statement of
meaning in connection with the term "New Age."

| | | | Creativity: Sex Is Not CompulsoryCelibacy: Sex Is Not Compulsory
Most of the sex advice books written
during 1960s underlined the idea that the world could be saved by sex -
without, of course, enduring the messy and inconvenient complications of an
unwanted pregnancy. Many therapists of that era encouraged their neurotic and
mentally disturbed patients to 'find themselves' and become better balanced
individuals through positive experiences of sex. Sometimes, surrogate partners
would be provided for the purpose. We liked to believe then that much mental
illness as well, resulted from long-held repressions, and that these could be
released through sex.
