Metaphysical power is the power of your mind , the power beyond the ability of physical science to measure! Out-of-body experiences, these days, are getting a lot of scientific attention. There are numerous people who will attest to real life examples of 'astral travel', 'psychic channeling ', 'thought transference', 'long distance mental communication' etc. Parapsychology is the name given to the science exploring such metaphysical powers like ' clairvoyance ', ' clairaudience ', telepathy', 'precognition' and 'psycho kinesis'. How do you acquire this ability? Simply by using your consciousness!

| | | | Consciousness: Know your soul
Conventional wisdom dictates that we must set clear goals and have a vision if we are to achieve great things. After all, how can we get to where we are going if we do not know where we want to go? Now I ask, who is setting the goals and who is creating the vision? Too Zen? Where there is Zen, there may be Yen! No joke, studies of Fortune 500 CEOs found that the top executives relied upon quiet time, moments of prolonged inner reflection, to help them make better decisions. The inner connection allowed them greater access to intuitive problem solving which resulted in clearer thinking and more effective decision making.

| | | | | | | | | | Consciousness: Physics Shows The Way To Consciousness - Meditation and Science
Can science and meditation, each dealing with different phenomena, have common ground? Physics deals with the external world of matter, space and time, from the giant galaxies in outer space down to the infinitesimally small particles which make up the atom. Meditation looks inward; its domain is that which is not physical. When we close our eyes in meditation, we are cutting off the senses which connect us with the physical world. What we perceive at this time cannot be seen, heard, tasted, touched or smelled. We are investigating the nature of the inner consciousness which makes us alive, alert and aware of the world around us.

| | | | | | | Consciousness: Cosmic Consciousness Is Well Within Reach
Does an enlightened individual need to remain caged in the body? Why not get liberated from the physical? For seven days, the Buddha grappled with this dilemma. In the end, he decided that there was nothing personal about enlightenment - the knowledge should be shared with all for the benefit of humankind. He spent the next 50 years doing just that and all those who listened to him benefited greatly. It is necessary for all of us to discover truth but once we find it, it should be shared freely with others. This will not only provide more insight, but also foster peace and happiness. The desire to share our discoveries with the world is normally fuelled by greed for either fame or money. Very few are selfless enough to share their discoveries freely for common benefit.

| | | | Consciousness: Physics of Nirvana - Link Two Realities
The Vedas describe an ultimate reality, which they call Brahman . The awareness of this 'reality' is attained through the practice of yoga and meditation. " Aham Brahmasmi " (I am Brahman) - is the statement of this realisation and identification, which is synonymous with the concept of nirvana. Conceptions of Brahman and nirvana are integral to the different schools of Indian and Buddhist philosophy. However, untill recently, they had not been subject to scientific scrutiny. Physicists have discovered that the various quantum fields , which underlie all physical reality, arise from one common source, namely, the unified field. Our goal here is to show an overall connection between two primary realities - the unified field and consciousness.

QuestUltimate Pinnacle of The Human
Quest
The stream of consciousness we experience within
ourselves throughout our lives ties together all events of physical existence
like the silken string that holds together a necklace. In its realisation, man
and woman will meet their journey's end, the Omega point, a place of final rest
and the dawn of a new existence in the divine self and the beautiful, blissful Lord
within. As Lord Swaminarayan says in his Vachanamrutam sermons: "The
human soul perpetually peers outward towards mundane objects of the five
senses, but never looks inwards to see himself. Such a soul is the most
ignorant and wretched of all.''

| | | | Consciousness: Music to Uplift Your Consciousness
The important thing to bear in mind, while practicing affirmations, is that because the mind has a tendency to use words while thinking, it is helpful to use them in such a way as to uplift the mind in cooperation with divine inspiration. Here are some points to remember while you repeat uplifting word-phrases and melodies during the day:

| | | | | | Consciousness: The Power of Positivity in Creating Abundance
We limit ourselves by limited thinking. Many a times, our beliefs follow long habituated patterns of established behavior. We need to, at times, raise our level of thinking by affirming to ourselves, the universal abundance and positive influences... thereby dispersing our cloudy belief-patterns into a fresh downpour of creative abundance! By choosing to curb the babble of untruth, both inner and outer, by listening to the guidance from within and following the path of what we find most spiritually nurturing, we open a channel of abundance, blocked only by our limited thinking.

| | | | Consciousness: Change Yourself Through Affirmations
An affirmation is a statement of truth which one aspires to absorb into his life. It has been said that we are what we eat. It would be truer to say, "We are what we think." For our minds express, and also influence, the reality of what we are far more than our bodies do. Our thoughts even influence, to a great extent, our physical health. Words, which are crystallized thoughts, have immeasurable power, especially when we speak them with concentration. The mere thought of fatigue is enough to sap our energy. To strengthen that thought by the words, "I'm exhausted," gives definition, and therefore added power, to the thought itself.
