 | | | Conscious breathing: Hatha Yoga Hatha Yoga deals with physical body and astral body purification and training. Its goal is to bring the physical body into a perfect state of health so the soul has an appropriate vehicle of expression to work through. Hatha Yoga embraces many practices, including physical postures and breathing exercises ( pranayama ) , which also act upon the physical nervous system and etheric body. It helps bring the vital energies of the physical and etheric bodies under conscious control. (See also: Yoga Systems, Yoga, Yoga and Health, Yoga Systems, Yoga Positions)

 | | | Conscious breathing: God Is In The Gap Between BreathsBreathing: God Is In The Gap Between Breaths God is in the breath inside the breath, said Kabir. He showed that anyone can become illumined from within. Osho once explained a sutra from Kabir's song: "Student, tell me what is God?" he asks. He provides the answer: "He is the breath inside the breath." God is your subjectivity; He is your innerness. Buddha made it a great technique for meditation, watching the breath, because through watching it you will come to know the breath inside the breath. 'Breath' means life. In Sanskrit it is pran or life. In Hebrew, Read more here: » Breathing: God Is In The Gap Between Breaths |

 | | | Conscious breathing: Balance Body & Mind With Sudarshan Kriya Yoga Our existence can be broadly divided into three categories - thinking, feeling and being conscious. The common link between all three is our attention. When we respond to something, physical or mental, consciously or unconsciously, we take our attention to the related part of the body. When we think, our attention is in the brain and when we carry out habitual activities, it is probably in the spinal cord. | | | Conscious breathing: Pranaymas of Maharishi Patanjali We will now explain some pranayams of Maharishi Patanjali. Patanjali kriya gets rid off all negative emotions and feelings and negative energies. It also strengthens the mind and the five 'prans' in our body (pran, apan, saman, vyan and udan). The five 'kosh' or bodies (annamay kosh, pranamay kosh, manomay kosh, vigyanmay kosh and anandmay kosh) within us are also purified with these pranayam. Practise of these pranayam leads one to a thoughtless state (where one is without any thoughts) or the state of meditation. Instructions and benefits for: - Bahyavriti Pranayam - Abhyantarvriti Pranayam - Stambhvriti Pranayama - Bahya-abhyantar visyakshapy Pranayama (See also: Pranayama, Yoga, Yoga and Health, Yoga Systems, Yoga Positions)

 | | | Conscious breathing: Pranayama TechniquesPranayama is defined as breath control, but actually, Prana is energy, the type of energy that is received from Kether or from the spiritual world. It is sometimes defined as a white light that emanates from on high or that is surrounding us at all times. Call it what you like, it is possible to energize our electrochemical bodies by controlled breathing, and the Pranayama methods are highly effective in attaining specific energy states. | | | Conscious breathing: Visualisation Visualisation is the process of focusing your concentration on an image of what you want and seeing it as already having manifested. It is a ritual of going in into the inner recesses of your mind, and with the power of the subconscious mind, causing the manifestation of the desired object, instance or circumstance. Visualisation resembles our familiar habits of fantasies, daydreams, and imaginations but entwines a certain discipline into them. Visualisation is not imagination, though the dividing line is very subtle. Imagination is an outward projection of the mind and has its foundation in desires and emotions. | | | Conscious breathing: Reach Intellectual Bliss with Samta The word God combines with the five material elements or tatvas to constitute the body, which is an equipment of action without cause. The inert material elements are imbued with the faculties of feeling, thought and action through the organs of the body. Consequently, assumption of doership, ego and duality arise in this state. This intellect tends to oscillate between sublime consciousness and materialism. This conflict, antar-dhvan , continues till the intellect settles down in a state of reintegration, which is samta in its unmodified source - utter sublime consciousness. | | | Conscious breathing: Psychic Perception - An OverviewPsychics are not dealing with the "physical" universe as governed by known laws related to space and time, but are accessing non-physical information through non-physical senses. From a quantum physical perspective, there are no hard boundaries or limitations in the Universe, including those we generally perceive related to space and time. Our thoughts or conscious awareness can transcend the constructed "reality" of space/time in order to see into something at a "distance," or see into the future. Read more here: » Psychic

 | | | Conscious breathing: Meditation Is Cool, Enjoy Yourself Meditation is the natural process of withdrawing attention from environmental, physical, and mental processes and consciously directing it inward to a chosen focus of attention. But not many people know how to practice meditation for personal benefit and spiritual growth. The beneficial side-effects of regular meditation practice include stress reduction, strengthening of the body's immune system, more orderly thinking, improvement in powers of concentration, and a slowing of the biological ageing process. For these reasons, meditation practice is recommended by an increasing number of doctors as a harmless way for patient-clients to be more responsible for their own total well-being.
