Collective Consciousness: The Morphogenetic fields explained by “The Hundredth Monkey”

The study of morphogenetic fields is an attempt to scientifically document and describe how the human consciousness is shared. The Morphogenetic fields also plays the main role in the idea that humanity at one point in time will go thru a dramatic collective shift in consciousness. It will happen when the critical mass for a shift is reached, or in other words, when a certain number of spiritually awakened individuals are reached.

The story “The Hundredth Monkey” gives an easily understood background to the theory of morphogenetic fields.

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - Collective consciousness
The French social theorist Émile Durkheim (1858-1917) used the term collective consciousness in his The Rules of Sociological Method (1895), Suicide (1897), and The Elementary Forms of Religious Life (1912). According to Durkheim, individual desires are limitless and constrained only by external social forces. These and bounds constitute the collective consciousness, which is embodied in a culture's formal and informal norms and values. These are expressed in a variety of ways, ranging from codified rules ...

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - Global Consciousness

Global Consciousness is the idea that there is a collective consciousness in which all individual consciousness participates in, in some ways comparable with an electromagnetic field. There are many hypotheses as to how the field might operate. A project in Princeton University called Global Consciousness Project is created to study it. It was started in 1998 by Roger D. Nelson. There is a hypothesis that the global consciousness has been getting stronger for the last decade because of communications networks which creat ...

Collective Consciousness: What is Consciousness?

What raises us above other known sentient beings is our ability to be conscious of our own consciousness. But what does this mean, scientifically?

“It is now widely accepted that all knowledge, from the beginning of time, is available to each of us, an intelligence that is carried at the cellular, subatomic level. Highly evolved individuals who have touched the hem of the eternal and communed with the infinite through their higher consciousness, made that quantum leap but have been unable to transfer their understanding due to limitations imposed by language. Because language is incomplete and fragmentary, merely registering a stage in the average advance beyond the ape mentality. But all of us do have flashes of insight beyond meanings already stabilized in etymology and grammar.”

Collective Consciousness: The Group Mind Principle I

In short, the group mind principle of Nature states that the resulting force generated from the combining of like minds is geometrically greater than the sum of its parts. In other words, minds that are focused together upon a common theme create a mutual force that is not merely additive, but vastly more powerful than any one individual or group of individuals.

Collective Consciousness: The Group Mind Principle II

The number of similarities between the function of a two-way radio and the human body are quite surprising. The body/mind constantly emits all aspects of our internal state to the environment, and receives input from the world in the same manner.

In any discussion of group mind phenomena, it is impossible not to enter into the subject of psychic effect, as well as the principles of natural law such as resonance or vibration (feeling/frequency) that make it possible. Similarly, it is not possible to fully understand psychic effects without a minimum coverage of the energy or chi upon which it is based.

Collective Consciousness: The Power of your Thoughts

Our past thoughts have created our current reality, and we are each creating our futures with the thoughts we think right now, in the present moment. Michael Curley expands upon this philosophy and tell us more about the power of our thoughts to bring about change in our own lives and on a global, even cosmic level.

Collective Consciousness: Meditation, Feeling Awareness And Group Mind

The main reason modern people usually assume they have little to no psychic sensitivity is because they are not in touch with their feelings. The second most prevalent reason for this attitude is our training in the modern paradigm. Basically, the artificial values of materialism have replaced our natural human intuitiveness, sensitivity and psychic dynamism. For this reason among others, the diligent practice of meditation is strongly advised for every individual.

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - U.S. two-dollar bill

The United States two dollar bill ($2) is a denomination of U.S. currency. Former U.S. President Thomas Jefferson is featured on the obverse of the note. The painting The Signing of the Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull is featured on the reverse. The current reverse and obverse (with features of a Federal Reserve Note) have been used since 1976. In spite of its relatively low value, the two dollar bill is one of the most rarely-seen denominations of U.S. currency. This is partially due to the low production o ...

Collective Consciousness: Information in the Holographic Universe

Holographic Universe

Theoretical results about black holes suggest that the universe could be like a gigantic hologram.

An astonishing theory called the holographic principle holds that the universe is like a hologram: just as a trick of light allows a fully three-dimensional image to be recorded on a flat piece of film, our seemingly three-dimensional universe could be completely equivalent to alternative quantum fields and physical laws "painted" on a distant, vast surface.

Collective Consciousness: The Road To Delusion

We can be drawn into others people's consequences by giving consent to their actions or by judging their behavior. The energy field that links us together works on all levels, spiritual through physical. We constantly put out energy for the approval or disapproval of our friends and family. When energy in any form comes to you from another person, the judgment you put on it ties you to it, regardless of type of judgment made.

Collective Consciousness: Morphogenetic fields according to Robert Gilman, Terence Mckenna and Rupert Sheldrake

According to its founder, the biologist Rupert Sheldrake, a morphogenetic field, is an equivalent to an electromagnetic field that carries information only, not energy, and are available throughout time and space without any loss of intensity after they have been created.

Morphogenetic fields are created by the patterns of physical forms. They help guide the formation of later similar systems where a newly forming system "tunes into" a previous system by having within it a "seed" that resonates with a similar seed in the earlier form.

Morphogenetic fields can be used to describe how the human consciousness is shared. The Morphogenetic fields therefore play the main role in the idea that humanity at one point in time will go thru a dramatic collective shift in consciousness. A shift that will happen when the critical mass for a shift is reached, or in other words, when a certain number of spiritually awakened individuals are reached.

Dear friends
I have had an overwhelming response from people to my article on Kalki and enlightenment, and I thought that rather than respond individually I would respond to some of these questions collectively in a stream of consciousness kind of way.

Collective Consciousness: Nationalism and patriotism

Politics and the concept of a global identity are two artificial constructs dominating our collective consciousness today.

A nationalist professes undying allegiance to his nation. Therefore he would find it impossible to love another nation or its nationalists.

Patriotism, on the other hand, is born of a deeper feeling of togetherness and bonding of a people in a particular civilisation/heritage. Hence a patriot would fully understand and appreciate similar sentiments in another pat-riot of a civilisation/heritage different from his own.

Collective Consciousness: A New Focus on Society

There will come a time, we are told by Spirit, that a civilization will exist whose primary focus is not the control of its citizens. In that day, we will see a new and exciting profile emerge within our collective consciousness. It will not be the only way that people will choose to live, but it will clearly be an option - a choice many can make if they so desire.

In our society today, there is a huge divergence between being a child and being treated like a child. Our social systems have created generalized markers for the separation of "the men from the boys" that are neither personal nor are they always accurate to the people involved.

Collective Consciousness: Too Much History Chokes the Child

A profound comment on history from an unknown source says, ''When you hear two eye-witness accounts of the same traffic accident, you grow suspicious about history''. History of several countries, since long, had been subjected to the Bed of Procrustes of ideologies and fancies; a fact bigger than the bed is cut to size and one shorter is stretched to fill it up. Yet something survives the operation. Despite omissions and exaggerations by the chroniclers, the time-spirit has culled out ideas from events or characters that have contributed to our understanding of the profundities and complexities of life, to the growth of our consciousness, both at the individual and collective planes.

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - Collective unconscious

Collective unconscious is a term of analytical psychology, and was originally coined by Carl Jung. He distinguished the collective unconscious from the personal unconscious, which is particular to each human being. The collective unconscious refers to that part of a person's unconscious which is common to all human beings. It contains archetypes, which are forms or symbols that are manifested by all people in all cultures. Some have pointed out that this is essentially metaphysic ...

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - Atman Hinduism

Beginning with Vedantic Hindu philosophy, the Ä€tman — Sanskrit (masculine nominative singular: Ä€tmÄ) is regarded as an underlying metaphysical self. It is first seen in its current Hindu usage in the Upanishads, some of which date back to 1000 BC. The word “Atman†(pronounced in Sanskrit like “Atmaâ€) is interpreted by some schools as the “Main Essence†of man, as his Highest Self. “A†in this word is a negative particle. One popular, albeit apocryphal, etymology has it that the 'tma' of "atma" “Tma†mea ...

Collective Consciousness: Encyclopedia - Noosphere

The noosphere can be seen as the "sphere of human thought" being derived from the Greek νους ("nous") meaning "mind" in the style of "atmosphere" and "biosphere". Just as the biosphere is composed of all the organisms on Earth and their interactions, the noosphere is composed of all the interacting minds on Earth. The word is also sometimes used to refer to a transhuman consciousness emerging from these interactions. This is the view proposed by the theologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who added that the noosphere is evolving towards an ever greater integration, culminating in the Omega Point ...

Cosmic Consciousness

Cosmic Consciousness was coined by the Canadian psychologist Richard M. Bucke, in his book Cosmic Consciousness 1902. He describes Cosmic Consciousness as a transpersonal mode of consciousness, an awareness of the universal mind and one's unity with it. Cosmic Consciousness prime characteristic is an awareness of the life and order in the universe.

An individual who at attains the state of Cosmic Consciousness is often described as 'Enlightened' and such a person is also said to have a sense of immortality, not of attaining it but of already having it. Burke saw this state of consciousness as the next stage in human evolution, very much as spiritualists have always seen it.

Enlightenment - Spiritual Enlightenment

A wisdom archive for Spiritual Enlightenment with articles, interviews and personal experiences of enlightenment. Spiritual Enlightenment and Spiritual Awakening is the primary goal of almost all spiritual practices, traditions and religions and for any spiritual seeker. There are many names for this awakened state of Consciousness depending on what culture and tradition we belong to.

"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Morphogenetic Fields

Morphogenetic fields are basically non-physical blueprints that give birth to forms.
