Coincidence:
The occurrence, within a short space of time, of two or more meaningfully related events and without any apparent causal connection between them. Coincidences are sometimes bizarre and extraordinarily improbable. See also synchronicity.

 | | | Coincidence: The Grandparent Connection Grandparents
and grandchildren are often linked by a special affection for each other. There
seems to be a natural bond between them, perhaps because both are a little
outside the rush of life's middle years. When we look deeper into this
relationship, however, we find traces of another pattern. We may discover one
of the pathways connecting birth and death.

Dynasties
Dynasties. In India there are two, the Lunar and the Solar, or the Somavansa and the Suryavansa. In Chaldea and Egypt there were also two distinct kinds of dynasties, the divine and the human. In both countries people were ruled in the beginning of time by Dynasties of Gods. In Chaldea they reigned one hundred and twenty Sari, or in all 432,000 years; which amounts to the same figures as a Hindu Mahayuga 4,320,000 years. The chronology prefacing the Book of Genesis (English translation) is given "Before Christ, 4004". But the figures are a rendering by solar years. In the original Hebrew, which preserved a lunar calculation, the figures are 4,320 years. This "coincidence" is well explained in Occultism.

Cain qayin
Cain qayin (Hebrew) (from qayin spear) In the Bible, the son of Adam and Eve, and a tiller of the ground. Becoming jealous of the offering which his brother Abel presents to the Lord, Cain according to the legend slays him (Genesis 4). This allegory signifies that "Jehovah-Cain, the male part of Adam the dual man, having separated himself from Eve, creates in her 'Abel,' the first natural woman, and sheds the Virgin blood" (SD 2:388). Cain and Abel represent the third root-race or the "Separating Hermaphrodite" (SD 2:134). Again "beginning with Cain, the first murderer, every fifth man in his line of descent is a murderer. . . . In the Talmud this genealogy is given complete, and thirteen murderers range themselves in line below the name of Cain. This is no coincidence. Siva is the Destroyer, but he is also the Regenerator. Cain is a murderer, but he is also the creator of nations, and an inventor" (IU 2:447-8). In Biblical genealogy, the line of Cain is Enoch, Irad, Mehujael, Methusael, and Lemech, whose sons were Jubal, Jabal, and Tubal-cain; the line of Seth, the third son of Adam and Eve, is Enos (Enoch), Cainan, Mehalaleel, Jarad (or Irad), Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah (Genesis 4-5). Blavatsky calls it "fruitless (to) attempt to disconnect the genealogies of Cain and of Seth, or to conceal the identity of names under a different spelling. . . . all these are symbols (Kabalistically) of solar and lunar years, of astronomical periods, and of physiological (phallic) functions, just as in any other pagan symbolical creed" (SD 2:391n). Node
Node [from Latin nodus knot] Astronomically, the two points of intersection of the orbit of a planet with the ecliptic, or the two points of intersection of the orbit of a satellite with the plane of the orbit of its primary. The point at which the moving body is going north is called the north node or ascending node; the other is the south or descending node. These nodes have a motion opposite to that of the moving orb, and it is very slow in comparison with the speed of the moving orb. The spinning of a gyroscope illustrates the matter. The moon's nodes revolve in 18.6 years; they are known in Hindu astrology as Rahu and Ketu, the Head and Tail of the dragon. They are also used in modern astrology. These nodes, and those of the planets with reference to the elliptic, mark important cycles of time. The period of the moon's nodes is not commensurate with the period of the moon's revolution; approximate coincidence of the two cycles marks eclipses.

ALCHEMY
ALCHEMY Chemistry is the child of the Alchemists. It's the legacy of "the puffers," those charlatan imitators who tried to fake the production of real gold. Alchemy was called "the Hermetic Science" because it supposedly began with Hermes (or Thoth). Paracelsus saw it chiefly as a means of producing medicine. The classical goals of Alchemy, however, have been to transmute lower metals into gold, to prolong life via an elixir, to search for the Mysterium Magnum, to create a homunculus and to find a universal solvent. This was to be accomplished via the manufacture or discovery of the Lapis Philosophorum, The Sophic Hydrolith, "Our Mercury" or "Philosopher's Stone." Other names for the "Stone" (achieved through the hieros gamos "marriage" of opposites) are: Virgin's Milk, Cock's Egg, Dry Water and similar contradictions. Generally, a cryptic vocabulary is used to disguise psychological and materialistic parallels, e.g. "red lion", "nigredo", etc. There are supposedly seven stages of the alchemical Great Work, which are symbolical as well as chemical/metallurgical steps: Calcination, Putrefaction, Solution, Distillation, Conjunction, Sublimation and Philosophic Congelation. There are also minor, intermediary steps, such as Coloratio, Corrosio, Ceratio, Extractio, Separatio etc. We should bear in mind, however, that true alchemists consider the Great Work to be not merely aureofaction or the transmogrification of matter, but rather, as Alice Bailey points out "to transfer consciousness to one of the higher vehicles..." In other words, the integrity of the inner transformation is more important than any flashy theatrical results. According to some theories alchemy is the raising of vibrations. The vegetable kingdom resonates at the lowest level. In between vibrates the animal kingdom. It is for this reason that the extraction of plant essence is easy, while the extraction of mineral essence is extremely difficult. This is also why man, situated midway between the two kingdoms, can, by simultaneously distilling his own essence, assist the mineral. From a psychological standpoint, any work, on the most general level, is the process of separating the important from the non-essential and the decision as to whether to continue further to distill that residue to any degree of perfection and finally the determination of when the whole is of a piece and completely finished. This process can apply to a work of art, to self-analysis, to the quest for the elixir of life or even, for that matter, to metallurgy - because (according to the Emerald Tablet) all things are one. It is no accident or coincidence, for instance, that there is a correlation between the atomic numbers of modern physics and the ancient progression of metals in their metamorphosis into gold: Lead 82 Thallium 81 Mercury 80 Gold 79 Platinum 78 The most important alchemical instruction is "Solve et Coagula", but an even more specific hint is "Flee contraction, seek dispersion."

 | | | Coincidence: Paganism PornographyPaganism & Pornography
At times my political views seem to lead me into
contradictions. Last month saw me writing a furious letter to Penthouse
magazine concerning their misinformed story on Witchcraft. Within two weeks I
was writing to the head of the QuickTrip Corporation protesting the removal of Penthouse from their stores. You'd think I would
have been happy at a blow struck against a magazine that maligned my religion.
Not so. At stake is the free expression of ideas. Misinformation and censorship
are both threats to
that freedom. Of the two, I judge censorship to be the greater threat. As long
as publishing continues unimpeded, retraction of misinformation is possible.
When publishing is censored, even that becomes impossible.

 | | | Coincidence: Understanding
SufferingSuffering seems to be one of those fundamental
human experiences that we all have in common, and is perhaps the one we would
all gladly give up. We often feel oppressed and frustrated by suffering because
we do not understand it. It can pierce the heart of our being and our identity,
and shake every assumption we hold about ourselves and the world. It often
seems to destroy our will-power and overthrow our commitments, to our dismay.

The Power to Move Mountains - FaithFaith
- The Power to Move Mountains
Faith
is an awesome force that can give us the power to accomplish the seemingly
impossible. There are many well-known examples of the power of faith in action.
Mother Theresa, for instance, always had faith that God would somehow provide
the food, money and provisions she needed to continue her service to the
poorest of the poor. Writings about her work are filled with miracle stories of
how the things she needed showed up exactly when she needed them, often in the
most surprising ways.

 | | | Coincidence: Indigo and Crystal ChildrenThe terms, "Indigo" and
"Crystal" were given to two generations of children, because they
most accurately describe their aura colors and energy patterns. Indigo Children
have a lot of indigo blue in their auras. This is the color of the "third
eye chakra," which is an energy center inside the head located between the
two eyebrows. This chakra regulates clairvoyance, or the ability to see energy,
visions, and spirits.
Many of the
Indigo Children are clairvoyant The Crystal Children have opalescent auras,
with beautiful multi-colors in pastel hues. This generation also shows a
fascination for crystals and rocks, as you'll read in this book.

 | | | Coincidence: Healing the Shadow and
the Mirror of RelationshipWhatever else you say about emotions and
feelings, you have to admit that you just "wouldn't be your self"
(little 's') without your own, familiar feelings. That's why we think we're
going crazy or becoming "possessed" when unfamiliar or "out of
character" emotions or reactions show up in our lives. However, there is
another, more positive way to look at these disturbing occurrences. Remember
that anything that feels like it isn't "you" must be a part of your
shadow, and when parts of your shadow start to show up in your
"self's" experience, this is HEALING.

 | | | Coincidence: Are You Sure You've Never Seen a Ghost?Many people have
seen or interacted with ghosts or non-physical beings without ever even being
aware that this was what was happening. Supernatural experiences don't
necessarily come with big neon signs on them; they're best recognized by the
telltale feeling that something unusual or important is happening. We often
shrug off those experiences that are strange and unexplainable, even really
astounding ones, because most of us just don't have a model for incorporating
anomalous experiences into our belief systems. What is magical to some is seen
as merely coincidental to others.

 | | | Coincidence: Introduction to Prosperity Consciousness Over the
years, I've known a lot of ministers, healers, mediums and other spiritual
folk. Just like all people, some were prosperous while others struggled with
material lack. One group was not more selfish and the other more
"spiritual." In fact, those who were adept at creating what they
needed on a physical level also tended to be those who were able to create
better health, relationships and general happiness for themselves. They were
also better skilled at helping others to create the same in their lives, and
they had the energy and resources to help others in this way. The difference
between the two groups can be summed up in a now common but powerful term:
Prosperity Consciousness.
