- Chewing gum Chewing gum For several years now, I have been receiving similar dreams from people all over the world. The dreams are almost exactly the same and involve the dreamers' inability to get rid of chewing gum. The more they attempt to remove it from their mouths the larger and more unmanageable it becomes. In the dream they become frustrated and panicky because the harder they try to pull, the larger the mass becomes in their mouths. This dream suggests that the dreamer may experience frustration in daily life due to a large scale or standing insolvable problem that leaves them feeling powerless. The dream represents an inability to digest or to process information or a dilemma. It also suggests that the dreamer is not able to express him or herself effectively and that repetitive and ineffective verbal expressions are typically used. Chewing gum in dreams may be a sign of childlike behaviors, vulnerability, powerlessness, and a need for nourishment. Some of the earliest artificial teeth were made by the Etruscans and their use was adopted in Ancient Rome for the wealthy citizens who often dined on food containing damaging sugars.

Aztec - Class structure.
The society traditionally was divided into two social classes; the macehualli (people) or peasantry and the pilli or nobility. Nobility was not originally hereditary, although the sons of pillis had access to better resources and education, so it was easier for them to become pillis. Eventually, this class system took on the aspects of a hereditary system. The Aztec military had an equivalent to military service with a core of professional warriors; only those ...

Brave New World - History.
The citizens of The World State use a calendar which takes the year 1908 as its starting point, as this was the first year in which the Model T automobile was produced by the Ford Company. According to the novel, the "Nine Years' War" broke out in Year 141, or the year 2049 of our calendar. Very little is revealed of The Nine Years' War, but it can be inferred that the conflict broke out in Europe, affected most of the planet, and caused massive physical damage. It is repeatedly stated ...

 | | | Chewing gum Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Themes in Blade Runner - Deckard: replicant or human?Rick Deckard is the antihero of Blade Runner, hired to "retire" replicants. The nature of most of the characters is clearly shown, yet Deckard's character is ambiguous, and viewers are left doubtful; aficionados debate this matter. If Deckard is human, then his being spared by Roy, and his love for Rachael soften the line between human and replicant, thus adding conflicting ambivalence to the story. If Deckard is a replicant, the irony is greater. If the origami unicorn seen in the Director's Cut reveals Deckard as a replicant in the film's end, then the audience's expectat ...
