| ARTICLES RELATED TO Chakras | | | | | | Chakras: Kriya to reverse ageing
Here is a kriya to reverse the ageing process. The body is programmed for normal wear and tear. The pranic currents of paanch mahapranas within the body i.e Prana, Apana, Samana, Udaan and Vayan are programmed to flow in their respective directions and take the body to its logical end. Our ancient rishis discovered that reversing the process of pranic flows has the effect of reversing certain ageing processes, processes responsible for apparent decay of the body viz grey hair, sagging skin and loss of the youthful physical glow. Reversing the pranic flow is called Viparitkarni - a technique prescribed by the ancients to reverse the ageing process. Instructions and benefits for: - Viparitkarni Kriya - Chakra Sanchalan Kriya - Brahmacharya Kriya

Hindu -
Hinduism Dictionary on Chakra
chakra: (Sanskrit) "Wheel." Any of the nerve plexes or centers of force and consciousness located within the inner bodies of man. In the physical body there are corresponding nerve plexuses, ganglia and glands. The seven principal chakras can be seen psychically as colorful, multi-petaled wheels or lotuses. They are situated along the spinal cord from the base to the cranial chamber. Additionally, seven chakras, barely visible, exist below the spine. They are seats of instinctive consciousness, the origin of jealousy, hatred, envy, guilt, sorrow, etc. They constitute the lower or hellish world, called Naraka or patala. Thus, there are 14 major chakras in all. The seven upper chakras, from lowest to highest, are: 1) muladhara chakra (base of spine): memory, time and space; 2) svadhishthana chakra (below navel): reason; 3) manipura chakra (solar plexus): willpower; 4) anahata chakra (heart center): direct cognition; 5) vishuddha chakra (throat): divine love; 6) ajna chakra (third eye): divine sight; 7) sahasrara chakra (crown of head): illumination, Godliness. The seven lower chakras, from highest to lowest, are 1) atala chakra (hips): fear and lust; 2) vitala chakra (thighs): raging anger; 3) sutala chakra (knees): retaliatory jealousy; 4) talatala chakra (calves): prolonged mental confusion; 5) rasatala chakra (ankles): selfishness; 6) mahatala chakra (feet): absence of conscience; 7) patala chakra (located in the soles of the feet): murder and malice. Allure of TantraThe
Allure of Tantra
Perhaps nothing is more exotic, dramatic and sensational in
IndiaÕs Yoga traditions than is the practice of Tantra. No other approach to
Yoga has gained such a fascination for the modern mind and its seeking of the
bizarre, the entertaining and the enigmatic.
Tantra appears to offer both spiritual and worldly success
to a superlative degree. It covers not only internal yogic experiences of
chakras, lokas and deities, but also has many important healing practices for
body and mind. Most notably, it offers special means of heightening sexual
pleasure, making money, gaining recognition and defeating oneÕs enemies - with Tantric methods
available for achieving all human desires. There is in Tantra something for
everyone, especially those who may be put off by ascetic or renunciate
approaches to the spiritual life such as seem to dominate most of the rest of
the Yoga tradition.

The Human Energy Body - The AuraThe
Human Energy Body - Aura
Everyone
is surrounded by an electromagnetic field, and this field is called an aura.
The aura has been depicted throughout history in literature and paintings.
Angel pictures show it as a halo; pictures of Jesus often depict a light around
his head. Auras are not unique to angels and religious leaders, however; a
field of energy surrounds us all.

Tantric CelibacyTantric Celibacy: Going
All the Way With Tantric Celibacy
Tantric
yoga, as a system of rituals, exercises, and philosophical teachings, was
developed over the past 2,500 years in a practical search for profound feeling
and awareness. Just as a modern scientist might spend years on a single
research problem, tantric yogis might dwell on a certain feeling for hours a
day, plumbing its every nuance and what it told them about existence. They
became experts in the arts of feeling and concentration.

| | | | Chakras: Energy - The River Of
LifeAura Clearing and Chakra Clearing
In
a healthy body, each layer of the aura is brightly colored, vibrant, full of
energy, and flowing. When one's energy becomes imbalanced, stagnant, or
blocked, the aura can have the appearance of being discolored, ripped, torn, or
dented. The chakras in a healthy body should also appear clear, vibrant, and
full of energy. They should be round in appearance and rotating in a clockwise
direction. When afflicted, the chakras can appear cracked, deformed, or out of
alignment with each other. If there is an imbalance in one of the layers of the
aura or one of the chakras, it can have a direct effect of the information
processed.

| | | | | | Chakras: The Indigo Crystal "Human Angel"
Indigo and Crystal children not only behave and think differently to their predecessors, they are spiritually different. Their subtle bodies are more developed, and they are "wired" differently. Because they represent the next step in human evolution, they carry within their auras the seed of an important new energy that is birthing on our planet. It is well known by science that every human has much brain and DNA capacity that is not used, or for which they can find no use. This "extra" DNA is even referred to as "junk" DNA. However, it is not "junk" or "spare" capacity, it is innate human potential waiting to be activated.

| | | | | | | Chakras: Raising Kundalini With Sahaj Yog
The word ' Yog ’ is derived from the verb yuj which means to yoke, to join, to connect. The end of life is to yoke oneself to the holy spirit i.e., the Paramchaitanya. Hindu scriptures enlighten us on the various ways or margas of doing so. The union with the holy spirit is possible through Gyan Yog, Karma Yog, Bhakti Marg, Mantra Yog, Raj Yog, Sanyas Marg or Hath Yog. The rishi-munis have particularly adopted the Gyan Yog which is possible only through Dhyan . For the householder, Karma Yog and Bhakti Marg are the most practical ways of attaining moksha. Ascetics have developed the knowledge of mantra-tantra . Hath Yogis have evolved various Aasanas, postures and occult practices for awakening the Kundalini. Shri Aadishakti Shri Mataji Nirmaladevi has advocated the Sahaj Yog for householders to attain the Parmachaitanya through the raising of the Kundalini.
