The hara chakra radiates a purple light, when
seen from the highest level. Purple is a vivid pink, or red-violet, bright
red-violet, color. When this chakra is clean, then the person think only
positive thoughts, then no impure thoughts or feelings can penetrate.

Sahasrara Chakra
The seventh
or crown chakra, sahasrara is of such a spiritual nature that restrictions of
time, space, and mortality are completely transcended. Sahasrara is the
thousand-petaled lotus of holy effulgence, experienced as the light of ten
million suns; "like mercury light kept in a vessel of silver. The
thousands of convolutions of the brain appear like the luminous petals of a
lotus," says the inwardly sighted yogi Vyas Dev.

 | | | Chakras: Balancing and Charging the ChakrasBalancing
and Charging the Chakras
The
energy of your body will not be balanced and free flowing if you do not have
good emotional balance, good physical health, and good relationships with your
surroundings and yourself.
Almost
no one is ever perfectly balanced. If you could do this, you would be able to
rise from the dead, have a body transformed into a cosmic molecular structure and
commune with the gods as an equal.

 | | | Chakras: Chakras
and the Seven Sacred CitiesSeven cities in India correspond to
seven centres or chakras in our body: ÒAyodhya, Mathura, Maya, Kashi, Kanchi,
Avantika, Puri drawaravati chaiva, Saptaide moksha dayikaÓ. The seven cities
are companioned with seven sacred
rivers; Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati, Godavari, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri
The microcosm
and the macrocosm are interlinked. Planet earth, home to many organisms, is
itself a large organism. It is not just a place for living beings; it is a
living organism as a whole. This is what the Gaia theory says. Materialism
considers everything as objects. Spirituality, on the other hand, discovers
life in everything.

chakras and channels of energyChakra
- Chakras: The
chakras and channels of energy
Inside every human being there is a network of nerves and sensory
organs that interprets the outside physical world. At the same time, within us
resides a subtle system of channels (nadis) and centers of energy
(chakras) which look after our physical, intellectual, emotional and
spiritual being.
Each of the seven chakras has several spiritual qualities. These
qualities are intact within us, and even though they might not always be
manifest, they can never be destroyed. When the Kundalini is awakened, these
qualities start manifesting spontaneously and express themselves in our life.

 | | | Chakras: The Crown ChakraThe Crown Chakra
This chakra is the chakra that is the most
penetrable for light, and its color is yellow and golden. It represents wisdom,
a deep and all-embracing wisdom. When this chakra is clean, then one knows
everything, understands everything - nothing is obscure concerning life, Gods
will, and creation.

 | | | Chakras: Role Of Srichakra In Devi Worship
In Hindu devotional practice, three kinds of external symbols are used for worship of the Supreme Being, who is actually formless and nameless. The most external is that of divine images cast in human form, with paraphernalia symbolising supra-human divinity. The most subtle is that of the mantras or divine names with certain sounds. A mantra is divine power clothed in sound. Between these two come the yantras or chakras , representing the deity in geometrical diagrams. Worshippers of Shakti consider the Srichakra the holiest and most significant of divine symbols.

 | | | Chakras: The Third-Eye Or Brow ChakraThe Third-Eye Or Brow Chakra
This chakra, which is also called the third
eye, is located right between the eyebrows on the forehead. It is the centre
for clairvoyance, visions, and transcendence of time and space in thinking. It
radiates a clear, green light, and people who have begun to develop the ability
so see more than most people, have a shining ball located in the area of this chakra.
This ball protects, and draws energy into the brain.

 | | | Chakras: The Subject
is Love - about the lower chakrasChakras: The Subject is Love
How does love, springing
from a divine source, become misguided in so many ways? How did we fall into
such animalistic forms of love? Some understanding of our subtle anatomy is
necessary at this point. We are all engaged in five types of work in our life, corresponding
to our five lowest centers (chakras): maintaining our physical survival (first
chakra - money), ensuring the continuation of the human race (second chakra -
sex), providing fuel for the physical vehicle (third chakra - food), developing
our emotional life (fourth chakra - heart), acquiring a set of philosophical
and religious principles to guide our life (fifth chakra - throat). These 5
lower chakras constitute the kingdom of delusion, illusion and error.

Subtle Bodies: The Yogic Anatomy of Human
Potentialities
Through exceedingly detailed
meditations over thousands of hours, the yogis determined that the human body
is far more than a configuration of fleshy organs, bones, and fluids. Composed
of five gradients or koshas, literally, "sheaths," with each one
more interior and more subtle than the previous one, we are the actual
"bridge" from the physical to the spiritual. Each sheath exerts a
guiding intelligence over the next more dense sheath in the following order:
the individual soul and causal body (jiva and anandamaya kosha), the
reflective-intellectual body (vijnanamaya kosha), mental-emotional body (manomaya
kosha), vital energy body (pranamaya kosha),and the physical body (annamaya
kosha). Through this anatomy of increasingly interior bodies, yoga maps the
emotionality and sentient capacities of the intimus itself and thus the way
toward deepening our intimacy with one another and the world.

 | | | Chakras: Nabhi ChakraThird Chakra: Nabhi Chakra
The third chakra is the one that gives us the sense of
generosity, complete satisfaction and contentment. On the left side, the main
quality of this center is peace - clearing this chakra can relieve stress and
tensions. On the right side, it looks after our liver which is the organ of our
attention and power of concentration.
When enlightened by the Kundalini, the Nabhi chakra gives us our
spiritual ascent, righteousness and inner sense of morality, and complete
balance at all levels in our life.

Apart from the physical body a human being
consists of a spiritual body, and this spiritual body is composed of vibrations

chakra, the solar plexus center, is where the fire element presides. The whole
gamut of heated emotions of jealousy, anger, vanity, belly laughter, and

feelings of dependency and autonomy relate to it, as well as the psychological
ideal of "emotional honesty."

 | | | Chakras: Vishuddhi ChakraFifth Chakra: Vishuddhi Chakra
The fifth chakra is the chakra of diplomacy, of pure relationships
with others, and of playful detachment. It removes all our guilts and remorses
when it is opened by the Kundalini, and gives us a kind and compassionate
voice. The tendencies to dominate others or to feel dominated by others, the
feelings of superiority or inferiority and all jealousies are removed when this
chakra is nourished by the Kundalini. Also, the Vishuddhi is the chakra which
gives us the connection with the whole, enabling us to feel our oneness and the
fact that we are all part and parcel of the whole.
