IU South Bend's enrollment in the fall semester of 2005 was 7,459 students, of whom 3,869 (52%) were full time. Undergraduates accounted for 6,324 students. Most IU South Bend students are white Indiana residents. Of students enrolled in fall 2005, 486 were African-American, 221 were Hispanic, 97 were Asian, and 32 were Native American.
