The bedroom is a symbol of your sexual life, also it is a place where you have a rest. It is your private part of the house which in dreams reflects your love life. Dreaming of making your bed means that you are not enjoying a rewarding relationship or sex life.

Bedroom Dictionary: Dream Interpretation - Bed

Bed

Dreaming of being in bed may be an indication of a lucid dream event. This means that you are aware of being asleep in a dream state. Somehow, your mind is accepting the limitations of your sleeping condition. However, the bed can also be a place of laziness, sickness, death or sexual encounter. If the bed feels like a symbol for any of these metaphors, the dream may be saying something about how you perceive yourself.

Freud would be inclined to see the bed as a womb, as well. Indeed, the covers pulled over the head on a chilly morning can make the bed a utopian haven against a difficult world.

Bedroom Dictionary: Dream Interpretations Dictionary - Snake, serpent

Dream Interpretation Snake, serpent

Snakes often represent troublesome situations that are intimidating and disturbing. These situations are very complex, and it is difficult to deal with them, you might get hurt. Sometimes, a snake stands for your enemies who are threatening you. Seeing snakes in a pit is a bad luck dream, it reflects your fears and inability to control the situation, or someone is intimidating you or uses your moral standards to manipulate you. Some snake dreams have sexual implications. A single snake in the bedroom in a woman's dream may represent a man in her life or masculine energy that is creating power issues in the relationship.

Bedroom Dictionary: Dream Interpretation - Teeth

Teeth

Dreams about teeth and losing teeth are common. Often the dream is troubling, although it does not contain the same fear or anxiety as a nightmare. In the dream, the teeth often are a concern only to the dreamer. Other characters in the dream either do not notice, or do not care, about the loose teeth.

A 19-year-old woman reports: I am in the bedroom combing my hair. A man comes in and asks me if I am in a relationship. I say no. Then, he asks me out on a date. I say yes. He is about to kiss me and I ask him to hold that thought for a second. I go to freshen up a bit. When I wipe my mouth, my teeth begin falling out! Each tooth I touch falls out. No bleeding, just empty spaces in my mouth. I go back out of the bathroom, concerned, but the man doesn't notice. Meanwhile, I'm a wreck.

In waking life, the woman reports feeling conflicted about ending a relationship with a man. She would like to renew it. Potential embarrassment is preventing her from doing so.

Dreams of losing teeth are often dreams of embarrassment or potentially embarrassing situations. The parallel waking experience could be summed up in the phrase "losing face" publicly. Other possible teeth-loss dreams may come from physical sensations such as grinding your teeth or having particularly sensitive teeth.

Do your teeth get knocked out or do they fall out for no apparent reason?

Bedroom Dictionary: Hindu - Hinduism Dictionary on Kala 64

Kala 64 (chatuh shashti kala): (Sanskrit) "Sixty-four arts."

A classical curriculum of sacred sciences, studies, arts and skills of cultured living listed in various Hindu shastras. Its most well-known appearance is in the Kama Sutra, an extensive manual devoted to sensual pleasures. The Kama Sutra details as its primary subject matter the 64 secret arts, abhyantara kala, of erotic love. In addition to these it lists 64 bahya kalas, or practical arts, as required study for cultured persons. They are:

These are among the skills traditionally taught to both genders, while emphasizing masculinity in men and femininity in women. Their subject matter draws on such texts as the Vedangas and Upavedas, and the Shilpa Shastras, or craft manuals. Through the centuries, writers have prescribed many more skills and accomplishments. These include sculpture, pottery, weaving, astronomy and astrology, mathematics, weights and measures, philosophy, scriptural study, agriculture, navigation, trade and shipping, knowledge of time, logic, psychology and ayurveda. In modern times, two unique sets of 64 kalas have been developed, one for girls and one for boys.

Bedroom Dictionary: Dreams Interpretation Dictionary - Rooms

Rooms

See Also House

(1) A room may represent the self, or some aspect of yourself.

(2) It may be a symbol of the womb. Freud tells us of a dream in which a girl (the dreamer) entered a room six or eight times and every time saw her father sitting there. Freud saw the dream as expressing the girl's fantasy of having seen her father come into her mother's womb while the girl was still a fetus,

(3) If the room is a cellar or basement, it may symbolize your unconscious. If it is a room near or at the top of a high building, it may represent consciousness (your waking life); idealism; lofty aspirations. (But of course an upstairs room may nevertheless symbolize libido, instinctive life and desires: for example, if it is a bedroom where sexual activity is taking place).

(4) A suite of rooms may express a male dreamer's polygamous sexual desires. This does not mean be polygamous in real life. On the contrary, he might well be shocked by the dream. What such a dream exemplifies is the way the unconscious compensates or balances the conscious self: a polygamous person might have monogamous dreams!

Bedroom Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Bablake School - History

Started by Edward II's wife Isabella in the 1300s, Bablake was first sited in Spon Street, Coventry. In the 1800s it moved to its current site of Coundon Road, where it was an all boys' boarding school. During the war, the school was evacuated to Derbyshire, and in the Blitz, the new Library was bombed so badly the only thing to remain intact was a page from a German dictionary. In the 1970s it had its first girl pupil and stopped admitting boarders, with what had been the bedrooms becoming the Maths department and the Headmaster's house bec ...
