What is the Law of Attraction?

Law of attraction has many different labels, "Success consciousness", "Law of Magnetism", "Power of Thought" etc.

What it says is; all your thoughts, all images in your mind, and all the feelings connected to your thoughts will later manifest as your reality. In other words; everything you have in your life - now - has been attracted to you thru your mind.

This means that both the things you are happy with and those you are not - is your own creation.

Most importantly it means; you can from now on create your life consciously. You can start attracting only those circumstances that creates happiness for you - and leave out those you do not desire.

The Universal Law of Attraction states: We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to--whether wanted or unwanted.

This Law is Universal because it does not matter who you are, where you live, what your religious beliefs are, what year you were born...the Law is true for everyone equally. It is as true as the Law of Gravity.

If one hold himself in the thought of poverty, he will be poor, and the chances are that he will remain in poverty. I've known about the law of attraction ever since I said to my kids, "Don't spill your milk," and one of them did. I noticed how that worked. I also noticed that when someone was really sure he or she could accomplish something, it usually happened.

There is in Nature a great Law - the Law of Attraction - by the operations of which all things - from atoms to men - are attracted toward each other in the degree of the common affinity of common use. The reverse of this law - which is merely another manifestation of its power - is what is called Repulsion, which is but the other pole of Attraction, and by the operations of which things tend to repel each other in the degree that they are unlike, opposing, and of no use to each other. The Law of Attraction is Universal, on all the planes of life, from the physical to the spiritual. Its operations are uniform and constant, and we may take the phenomena of one plane and thereby study the phenomena of another plane, for the same rule applies in each case - the same Law is in operation in the same way.

It is important to understand that The Law of Attraction operates in every moment. Right now, in this very moment, each of us is offering a vibration and The Law of Attraction is matching that vibration and giving us more of it; whether or not we are offering that vibration deliberately or non-deliberately. As the definition says, whether wanted or unwanted, we attract more of whatever vibration we offer in every moment.

The Law of Attraction can only bring to you what you give your attention, energy and focus to, so change what you're focussing your attention to by asking yourself, 'What do I want?' When you catch yourself thinking or saying what you don't want, in that very moment, state what you do want. The words and the vibration will change. Universal Laws govern the Universe. They are basic principles of life and have been around since Creation. They are laws of the Divine Universe. Universal Laws apply to everyone, everywhere. They cannot be changed. They cannot be broken.

The Universal Law of Attraction (LOA) is the most powerful force in the universe. It is simple in concept but practice is necessary. But once you "get it",  there is no looking back! It will be part of you forever.

The simplest definition of this law is "like attracts like."  Other definitions include:

o     You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted.

o     All forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration.

o     You are a living magnet.

Everything in creation is influenced by the law of magnetism (also called Law of Attraction). The law of magnetism teaches us that whatever we concentrate upon, we draw to ourselves. If we focus on goodness, our life can be a garden of happiness; if we concentrate on wealth, we will draw wealth to ourselves.

Success in life presupposes the power of concentration. Just as a magnet draws to itself iron filings and not rice grains, so too, the quality of our focused thoughts will create a dynamic but silent power within that will find us placed in situations akin to the nature of our thoughts. If we think ' good health ' and with faith and belief embed this deeply within our minds over a sustained period of time, we will gradually create for ourselves situations and an environment, which will be conducive to good health .

When you're looking for love, and you really, really want to find it, in most cases you actually empower you not having a loving relationship.

People who really want or need to feel loved are probably deep down (or openly) afraid that they are never going to find someone to love and that they aren't deserving of love.

The Universe treats the fears these people have as commands.

We all live metaphysical lives, whether we are aware of it or not. What we desire becomes manifest in our lives. What we fear becomes manifest in our lives. When these things happen, we are experiencing the Law of Attraction (sometimes called the Law of Resonance.) The Law of Attraction states that we create (co-create with God) in our lives that which we focus on. The vibration sent out to the Universe of what we fear or desire or believe attracts to us things that resonate with our fears, desires and beliefs. Our lives are always in sync with exactly what we believe about our lives.
