Ascension Dictionary

Ascension Christian doctrine of the physical ascension of the resurrected body of Jesus Christ to heaven to be with his Father, celebrated 40 days after Easter; the prophet Elijah and the Virgin Mary are also asserted by dogma of the Roman Catholic Church to have ascended bodily to heaven.

The ascension is an allegory of the rebirth, resurrection, and union of the personality or ego with the inner god or Father in Heaven (BCW 5:389).

Ascension

The rise of the "Christ-consciousness" in man-kind to the point that the individual is beyond the powers of reincarnation and karma. The word "resurrection" as found in the New Testament is best translated as "ascension". After millenia of reincarnation, the soul finally gets off the wheel of karma in "ascension". (See Ascension)

Resurrection

In Christian theology, Being raised from the dead. It specifically refers to that future time when we shall all receive new bodies when Jesus returns at the end of time, when the last trumpet is blown New Age: teaching: The Greek word which is translated 'resurrection' in the King James translation of the Bible, means literally 'rising up'. In most usages, it would be better translated 'ascension'. It is not the raising of the body from the grave, but rather the raising of the consciousness to a higher, spiritual level. (see Ascension)

Ladder

Ascension or dissension on a ladder may be an unconscious reflection of your movement toward a goal. Ascending is generally a more positive symbol than descending. The ladder is suggestive of hard work and exertion of energy. The ladder may also be symbolic of the "way to heaven". You can decide whether the heaven is here on earth or in the forever after!:) Missing rungs may symbolize missing elements or hardships and handicaps that you could be (or are) encountering on your ascent to better and bigger things.
