Dream Interpretation Argument
If you dream of arguing with someone you know, it may be an indicator of your dissatisfaction with something this person does in reality and desire to argue, but you wouldn't do it in real life. This dream should be considered also as a warning against impulsive and thoughtless decisions.

* People Who Refused to Believe

Muslim Quotes: People Who Refused to Believe

Have you not heard of people in the past who refused to believe? They have already suffered through their unbelief; and a terrible punishment awaits them. When their apostles brought them clear arguments, they said: Will mortals be our guides?Õ They denied the truth, and turned their backs. But God has no need of them; he has all he needs, and he alone should be praised.

* Do Not Be Driven by Sentiment

Why are wars waged? Why are some conflicts never resolved? All fanaticism, militancy, terrorism and war are flashpoints of ativada. An ativadi is one who carries an opinion, viewpoint, argument or a case of grievance to excess.

That's why sages have said: Ati sarvatra varjayet - avoid excesses everywhere. No case or argument is strong enough to be an excuse for excess, for breaking peace. A mantra in the Mundaka Upanishad says: "It is one and the same life-force that shines forth as all these beings. One who realises this never becomes an ativadi" (3.1.4).

* Avoid Vain Talk

Buddhist Quotes: Avoid Vain Talk

One avoids vain talk, and abstains from it. One speaks at the right time, in accordance with facts, speaks what is useful, speaks of the law and the discipline; one’s speech is like a treasure, uttered at the right moment, accompanied by arguments, moderate and full of sense. This is called Right Speech.
