Aquarian Age: The Age Of Aquarius

The Age Of Aquarius

Many astrologers herald April of 1995 as the actual beginning of the "Age of Aquarius," for that is when Uranus entered Aquarius, and of course Uranus rules the sign of the water bearer. It's tricky to define and describe the general nature of Aquarius and the energies of its counterpart Uranus, for by their natures, they move beyond definition and transcend restrictions and expectations.

Aquarian Age: The Christ of the New Age Movement Ð Part II

"Who do you say I am?" (Luke 9:20, NIV) The question was first asked of Peter by Christ nineteen centuries ago, and has continued since then to the present day to be the litmus test of spiritual authenticity. Perhaps never in the history of the Christian church has this question been more relevant than it is today. One reason for this is that New Agers have taken the New Testament sculpture (if you will) of Christ, crafted an esoteric/mystical chisel, and hammered away at this sculpture until a completely new image has been formed.

Aquarian Age: Defining The New Age

Defining The New Age

Semanticists, theologians and the third estate have been drafting theses and definitions for almost two thousand years with regard to Christianity. In fact it most probably would have been easier and more feasible to outline what Christianity was not. Similar problems exist concerning any universally acceptable statement of meaning in connection with the term "New Age."

Aquarian Age: Enlightenment, Kalki and the Golden Age Movement - II

Dear friends
I have had an overwhelming response from people to my article on Kalki and enlightenment, and I thought that rather than respond individually I would respond to some of these questions collectively in a stream of consciousness kind of way.

Aquarian Age: Who Are The Indigo People?   Part Three

Indigos have very rich and sensualist tastes in music, food, scent, color, and other sensual expression. Adult Indigos are often connoisseurs of music, food, perfumes, art, clothing, or other 'sense-dense' items. They are the ones who will be able to pick out many of the ingredients in perfumes if they have studied perfumery. They also like to dissect the various flavors in foods and wines. The same also applies to music- musical preferences tend toward 'high calorie' and complex sorts: ambient, classical, dense world fusion, jazz, and other 'iconoclastic' forms.

Aquarian Age: Encyclopedia - New Age

The term New Age describes a broad movement of late twentieth century and contemporary Western culture, characterised by an individual eclectic approach to spiritual exploration. Collectively, New Age has some attributes of an emergent religion, but is currently a loose network of spiritual teachers, healers, and seekers. The movement is most visible where its ideas are traded—for example in specialist bookshops, music stores, and New Age fairs. The name "New Age" also refers to the market segment in which its goods and servi ...

Aquarian Age: Encyclopedia - Age of Aquarius

The Age of Aquarius (starting around the 27th century) is one of the twelve astrological ages. According to different astrologers' calculations, probable approximated dates for entering the Age of Aquarius may be A.D. 2638 (Elsa M. Glover), A.D. 2654 (Max Heindel) or A.D. 2680 (Shepherd Simpson); yet all of them quite close to each other, taken into consideration that they are calculations about an event taking place six centuries from now. In 1929, the International Astronomical Union defined the edges of the 88 official constellations. The edge established between Pisces and Aquarius locates t ...

Aquarian Age: Encyclopedia - Earth changes

The term Earth Changes describes a belief prevalent in certain segments of the New Age movement. Believers in the 'Earth Changes' theory believe that the world will soon enter on a series of catastrophic changes that will begin a major alteration in human life on the planet. While apocalyptic beliefs of this sort are common across a variety of religious traditions (see Eschatology), the Earth Changes theory is particular to the New Age movement, and is often associated with the predi ...
