Nabu
Nabu (Chald.). Nebu or Nebo, generally; the Chaldean god of Secret Wisdom, from which name the Biblical, Hebrew term Nabiim (prophets) was derived. Nusku
Nusku (Babylonian) Prominent Babylonian and Assyrian deity of light and fire, very closely associated with the god Girru or Gibil. As in other countries, fire was regarded as the great purifier, along with Ea, the god of water; hymns were addressed to him as the great cleanser from diseases and illness. Nusku-Girru represented both heavenly and terrestrial fire. He was regarded as the son of Anu, the deity of the heavenly spaces; but at Harran, in Assyria, he was regarded as the son of the moon deity Sin. Because of the connection of fire with productivity and birth, he held a position of the family god somewhat parallel to that of the Lares and Penates in ancient Rome.

| | | | | | Anu Dictionary: Vyakhyana or Tika in the Hindu ScripturesA Vyakhyana is a
running explanation in an easier language of what is said in the original, with
little elucidations here and there. A Vyakhyana, particularly of a Kavya, deals
with eight different modes of dissection of the Sloka, like Pada-Chheda,
Vigraha, Sandhi, Alankara, Anuvada, etc. This forms an important aspect in the
study of Sanskrit Sahitya Sastra. An Anu-Vyakhyana - like the one written by
Sri Madhva - is a repetition of what is already written, but in greater detail.
An Anuvada is merely a running translation or statement of an abstruse text of
the original. Tika is only another name for Vyakhyana. The best Vyakhyanas are
of Vachaspati Misra on the Darsanas, especially on Sankaras
Brahmasutra-Bhashya.

Dear Beloved Ascending Human, Earth has completed in this year of 2003 with a focus upon karma associated with slavery, subordination, insanity, and deformity. The purpose of this focus was to release all global karma and thought-form associated so that a new dream of biological unity could be anchored. The male and female energies upon earth were united into the flame of Divine Union within the heart chakra of earth as the karma was released in full. The flame of Divine Union has been ignited and shines brightly in the aurora of earth! In so doing, there is a greater state of soul infusion and direction on the part of the Great Central Sun for earth as a global consciousness and vessel.

| | | | Anu Dictionary: Marrying Science And Spirituality
Both science and spirituality need to work together to understand total reality. In the Gita, Krishna says: ''It is the knowledge of matter with its evolutes and the spirit which I consider as wisdom’’ (13.2). Bertrand Russell wrote: ''Unless man increases in wisdom as much as in knowledge, increase of knowledge will only be increase of sorrow.’’ Science is limited to the outer, physical world of objects. 'Veda’ deals with knowledge of both the outer (physical) and inner (psycho-spiritual) worlds. Vedas have a larger connotation as they stand for eternal truths.
