What is the Law of Attraction?
Law
of attraction has many different labels, "Success consciousness",
"Law of Magnetism", "Power of Thought" etc.
What it says is; all your thoughts, all images in your mind,
and all the feelings connected to your thoughts will later manifest as your
reality. In other words; everything you have in your life - now - has been
attracted to you thru your mind.
This means that both the things you are happy with and those you
are not - is your own creation.
Most
importantly it means; you can from now on create your life consciously. You can
start attracting only those circumstances that creates happiness for you - and
leave out those you do not desire.
As The Law of Attraction is the most important law in the universe
- there is a lot to say about it! Here you will find over 100 links to articles
related to the Law of Attraction sorted under different topics. Indulge in all
the knowlwdge and inspiration and learn how to become your own Creator!

 | | | Affirmations: Today I choose...
Here is a great way to create affirmations that may be helpful to you. Here's how it works: You start off the affirmation with "Today I choose..." then fill in a quality or thought habit that you want to condition into your thinking. Then repeat it often during the course of the day, especially when you are about to make a decision or engage in a behavior that is directly related to what you intend to create. Let it act as a compass to guide you so that you keep moving in a straight line directly towards your goals regardless of what others may do.

 | | | Affirmations: Power Your Affirmations With Feeling
How are you feeling about your life? Are you affirming abundance, but believe you have to struggle to make ends meet? Do you affirm ease, but expect obstacles in your path? Do you want appreciation, but anticipate criticism? When you state an affirmation, it's the feeling behind it that counts. The emotions you feel are what power your affirmations, whether you're affirming what you want, or unconsciously affirming what you don't want.

 | | | Affirmations: The Power Of Concentration and the Law of Attraction
Everything in creation is influenced by the law of magnetism (also called Law of Attraction). The law of magnetism teaches us that whatever we concentrate upon, we draw to ourselves. If we focus on goodness, our life can be a garden of happiness; if we concentrate on wealth, we will draw wealth to ourselves. Success in life presupposes the power of concentration. Just as a magnet draws to itself iron filings and not rice grains, so too, the quality of our focused thoughts will create a dynamic but silent power within that will find us placed in situations akin to the nature of our thoughts. If we think ' good health ' and with faith and belief embed this deeply within our minds over a sustained period of time, we will gradually create for ourselves situations and an environment, which will be conducive to good health .

 | | | Affirmations: Change Yourself Through Affirmations
An affirmation is a statement of truth which one aspires to absorb into his life. It has been said that we are what we eat. It would be truer to say, "We are what we think." For our minds express, and also influence, the reality of what we are far more than our bodies do. Our thoughts even influence, to a great extent, our physical health. Words, which are crystallized thoughts, have immeasurable power, especially when we speak them with concentration. The mere thought of fatigue is enough to sap our energy. To strengthen that thought by the words, "I'm exhausted," gives definition, and therefore added power, to the thought itself.

 | | | Affirmations: Understanding Concentration
Men of great success have been men of great concentration. Success does not come from outside. It is right within your brain. When a brilliant thought /idea strikes you, it needs to be nurtured and reared with patience, will, focus, and determined action. Only then will the tiny seed of an idea truly flower into a vibrant plant. The entire basis of the flowering is the mind and its powers. Concentration involves a honing in of the attention so that one's entire field of attention is thrown into whatever it is that one is doing. Concentration entails a focusing of energy-the energy that influences all our actions in life.

 | | | Affirmations: Combine Affirmation and Prayer for Success
Affirmation is only the first step to self-healing. We must do our human part. Without additional power from God, however, our efforts are forever incomplete. Affirmation, in other words, should end with prayer. Why should one pray only after repeating the affirmations? Why not before? Prayer is always good, certainly. But if it isn't uttered with an affirmative consciousness, it can easily become weak and beggarly: a plea that God do all the work, without man's active participation. Effective prayer is never passive. It is full of faith. It matures in an attitude of affirmation.

 | | | Affirmations: Affirmation for Good Health
Most religious teachings aver that one can do nothing to uplift oneself: One can only wait for God's grace to descend. Other teachings aver the opposite - that man must do the whole work of upliftment himself, without the benefit of grace. Paramhansa Yogananda brought these two teachings together into a harmonious whole. He explained that we should use Òour own, but God-given powerÓ. God, in other words, doesn't do all the work for us, but neither can we do it all alone.

 | | | Affirmations: Overcoming Addictions with Affirmations
Addictions are not formed overnight. An addiction connotes a mental habit of becoming attached to something on which you have become dependent. We commonly think of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, coffee etc. to be objects of addiction. However, a habit can be as addictive; be it playing cards, sex, watching TV, gossiping, or anything else that you cannot help but do. If for some reason you are unable to indulge in the habit or activity to which you are addicted, it leads to tremendous discomfort, frustration, anger, or even unbearable physical pain (as in drug addiction).

 | | | Affirmations: Are You Living On The Edge?
Financial, emotional or physical stress can be a real energy drain and ample motivation to play it safe. I don't like being at my edge, it's scary and unsettling. It calls up my anxiety and my old fears and doubts that I think I've resolved. Despite my resistance, I want to know what continues to push me forward, and creates the ability to withstand and thrive when I am pushed to my edge. Where's your edge? What are you at the brink of and wanting to press forward with in your life? What dreams or passions are you denying because you want to stay safe in your comfort zone?

 | | | Affirmations: One step at a time...
Change all thoughts to empowering ones. Ask not "Why me?" Ask, "What can I do to reach my goals?" Change any mindset of "I can't" to a mindset of "I can." Just as when you climbed the high diving board as a child, gave a first speech in college, got married, or decided to be a parent, you will find the strength to face any future challenges. Change any overly independent thoughts such as "I'll handle this alone" to "I have many sources of help, if I simply ask." Shift any catastrophising thoughts such as "This is the worst thing that could happen to me" to "I'm sure I'll survive this one."

 | | | Affirmations: The Ten Keys To Happiness
Listen to your body's wisdom, which expresses itself through signals of comfort and discomfort. When choosing a certain behaviour, ask your body: How do you feel about this? If your body sends a signal of physical or emotional distress, watch out. If your body sends a signal of comfort and eagerness, proceed.

 | | | Affirmations: An Affirmation for Love
We are what we think. But we are also far more than what we think consciously. We are the myriad conflicting patterns of feeling, habit, and reaction that we have built up over a lifetime - indeed, over lifetimes - in our subconscious minds. To heal ourselves, we must also set those inner conflicts in order.

 | | | Affirmations: Visualisation - Visualising exercise
The best form of visualisation is when you try and affirm your oneness with the Divine Spirit. Sit, relaxed and comfortable, in a chair with your spine straight, or on a mattress in the meditative/cross-legged posture. Focus your gaze on the area of the third eye in between your eyebrows. This in yogic terms is the seat of concentration and will power. Fill your heart and your mind with the joy of God or any other happy feeling that you are able to relate with. Know yourself to be a being of light. Forget the heaviness of the body. See yourself surrounded by this ball of light. It is immersing you in its warmth and permeates you into the space around. This light is the presence and consciousness of God.

 | | | Affirmations: Visualisation
Visualisation is the process of focusing your concentration on an image of what you want and seeing it as already having manifested. It is a ritual of going in into the inner recesses of your mind, and with the power of the subconscious mind, causing the manifestation of the desired object, instance or circumstance. Visualisation resembles our familiar habits of fantasies, daydreams, and imaginations but entwines a certain discipline into them. Visualisation is not imagination, though the dividing line is very subtle. Imagination is an outward projection of the mind and has its foundation in desires and emotions.
