Achaemenides

In Greek mythology, Achaemenides was one of Odysseus' crew who stayed on Sicily with Polyphemus until Aeneas arrived and took him to Italy with his company of refugee Trojans. Aeneas (Greek: Αινείας, Aineías) was a Trojan hero, the son of prince Anchises and the goddess Aphrodite (Venus in Roman sources). He was also the cousin of King Priam of Troy.
