Judge Calvin L. Noble of Paulding County spent the better part of his life as a Paulding County resident. His claim to fame is that he changed the name of Cleaveland to Cleveland. Eearlier in life, as a printer, he founded the Cleaveland Advertiser. That was just a bit too long to fit atop page one - so he omitted the one letter.
