Vaikunta: Encyclopedia - Vaikunta

Vaikunta is the abode of Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and other living entities who have freed themselves from the bondage of the material world. It is the place of eternal bliss, exclusive to the Lord, his eternal consort Lakshmi, and the serpent Sesha Naga, upon whom the Lord and his wife rest.
