Samael Aun Weor - Doctrine

Samael Aun Weor primarily synthesized his doctrine through the Three Factors of the Revolution of the Consciousness: To die, to be born, and to sacrifice for humanity. The three factors themselves correspond to the Holy Triamazicamno (otherwise known as the Law of Three, the Law of Creation, the Trinity, etc.) which is composed of the Holy Affirmation (Positive), the Holy Denial (Negative) and the Holy Conciliation (Neutral).

Birth is the movement of the Holy Affirmation, intimately related with the John_3 of the Gospel of John which states:

‘In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Samael Aun Weor stated that to be born again is neither a theory nor an ideology, but a literal requirement in order to enter the “Superior Worlds.” This is because man, or “the intellectual humanoid who is mistakenly referred to as man,” is not a human at all, due to the fact he does not posses a human soul, thus giving reason to the quote “In patience you shall possess your souls” (Luke 21:19). Instead of an authentic soul, the common person contains a “legion” of psychological aggregates, identities or “I centers”, which in sum is referred to as the ego. In order to manifest soul, one must transform the base, dense energies of the “human machine” into the fine, volatile energies that facilitate the “self realization of the Being.”

Sexual energy, stored within the endocrine system and being the final condensation of energy within the human organism, is the very base energy that is transmuted into soul. This is, in other words, Tantra, or the continual movement of energy. While taught through meditation, vocalization (mantras) and pranayama, its most powerful aspect is through Sexual Yoga.

The most important aspect of White Tantra is to avoid any loss of sexual energy, providing the impetus behind Samael Aun Weor’s principle axiom to conclude intercourse without orgasm or ejaculation. According to his doctrine, this is the meaning of "flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." In other words, the sexual energy can faciliate physical or spiritual birth (the birth of soul), depending on its physical or spiritual use. Born Again Christians believe that to be born again, one must accept a new ideology. This belief is rejected by Samael Aun Weor, who states, "show me a child who has been engendered through a theory... only the sexual energy can engender."

The second factor, Death, is the enactment of the Holy Denial, or the sacrifice of the independent will. This is known as psychological death, mystical death, ego-death, or Buddhist annihilation. Within the “practical esotericism,” one works on the comprehension of the psychological “I,” which is constituted not as a single entity, but through the diffusion of contradictory wills. Each desire is defined as an “I,” and the inconsistency of the I-Desires provides the confusion and constant contradiction of the human psyche. (This aspect is pure Buddhism (particularly Tibetan Buddhism), as that philosophy teaches that desire is the cause of all suffering.)

The third aspect, Sacrifice for Humanity, is the incarnation of the Holy Conciliation because it is both a negation and activation. It is a sacrifice of ego, and an enactment of the “Being,” the superior and divine aspect of any particular person. This is Karma Yoga, or the will of the Bodhisttava.

Samael Aun Weor - Mission

In occultism, Samael is the “Fifth of Seven,” or the “fifth throne before God” as stated in the book of Revelation. This implies that it is Samael’s duty to oversee the development of the Fifth Root Race, the Aryan Race. The Aryan Race does not refer to a particular sect or authenticity of people, but rather the entire humanity that exists during the Manvantara’s fifth and current epoch.

Samael is equated with Mars or Aries, which is why he controls the Aryan Race and initiates the Aquarian Age (Aqu-Aryan Age). According to Samael Aun Weor, this Age began between 2 and 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Feburary 4, 1962, at that moment when all the planets of the solar system were in alignment with one another. The Aquarian Age coincides with the transition between the current Kali Yuga and the upcoming Kali Satya (Golden Age).

Before this new age can occur, the earth will undergo the Apocalypse, to prepare a proper home for the earth's future inhabitants. Furthermore, only those souls who have achieved self realization will be saved from apocalyptic doom. This is to ensure that the Golden Age’s purpose, the conquering of the Astral Light by the Sixth Root Race, is rightfully achieved for earth's proper development. Those souls who do not self realize will be purified by the fires of Hell and will return to human development at a later time. Thus, according to Samael Aun Weor, his mission is to initiate the Age of Aquarius through the proliferation of an intricate esoteric didacticism to help those souls wishing to self realize prior to the apocalypse.

Samael Aun Weor - Criticisms

Critics do not consider Samael Aun Weor to be especially "gnostic" as compared to traditional Western Gnosticism, noting that the vast majority of his works have very little to do with historical Gnostic sects, however his students state that what is understood as "traditional Gnosticism" is an outcome of not knowing what Gnosticism actually is. Unfortunately, the theology of Samael Aun Weor has never been systematized, making it difficult for scholars to study and compare to more conventional theological works.

The F. R. A. denies the claim that Arnoldo Krumm-Heller transferred patriarchal duties to Samael Aun Weor.
