Piraka - The Gang
Hakann, "The Bully", is "100% explosive, 0% fuse". Hakann has a big ego that tends to irritate the other Piraka - meaning when they eventually turn on each other, he'll be the likely first target. He's currently waiting for Zaktan to mess up so that he can take control. He and Vezok have a deep hatred for each other, and he may have attempted to sabotage Vezok's canister before they undertook the sea trip to Voya Nui. He's currently alligned himself with Avak in a secret alliance against the other Piraka.
Thok, "The Drifter", is "100% solo, 0% social". Thok is a bit of a loner and being around others for too long can drive him nuts. He is fully aware of the Piraka's mutual distrust of one another - and is counting on it. He and Vezok currently plan to find the Mask of Life and then strand the other Piraka on Voya Nui, though he intends to betray Vezok as soon as this is accomplished.
Reidak, "The Tracer", is "100% hunter, 0% chicken". Reidak has no patience for planning or stealth, believing that he can defeat any enemy with his brute strength. He hates enclosed places and gets restless if stuck in one place for too long. He also has an obsession with smashing things - especially Avak's beloved gadgets.
Zaktan, "The Snake", is "100% cunning, 0% cuddly". Zaktan is leader of the Piraka by virtue of the fact that he can beat down any rebellion. He has exceptional intelligence, but at the same time doesn't really understand other people - nor does he want to. He is the only one that knows the truth about the virus that he and the other Piraka use in their Zamor Spheres. Any setbacks in the hunt for the Mask of Life, he tends to blame on the incompetency of the other Piraka, rather than his plan.
Avak, "The Trigger", is "100% arms, 0% charms". Avak is the Piraka's weapons-crafter and extremely trigger-happy. However, he is terrible at hand-to-hand combat and rather useless when unarmed. Because of this, he goes to great lengths to protect his weapons from Reidak, who can reduce them to scraps in seconds. He is the only other Piraka besides Zaktan to suspect that something is up regarding the virus. When the group was originally part of the Dark Hunters, Avak was a jailor. However, upon realizing that any cell could be escaped from with the right amount of inspiration, he took the problem to the Shadowed One, who sent him to the Brotherhood of Makuta. The Brotherhood modified him so that he could generate cells with his mind that would directly counter the prisoner's powers. He's currently secretly allied with Hakann.
Vezok, "The Beast", is "100% animal, 0% pet". Vezok is considered "the outright nastiest of the Piraka" (and in this group, that's saying something). He acts calm on the outside, but is actually bitter and paranoid (but you know what they say - it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you...) He believes a direct approach is best, as was evidenced when he was in the Dark Hunters. Training under Nidihki to unlock a vault without traces, his hands were too clumsy to properly do so. In a fit of rage, he smashed the vault to rubble instead. Nidihki immediately declared the test over, and passed Vezok. He and Hakann harbor a deep dislike for each other, which lead Vezok to suspect the red Piraka as the one that tried to sabotage his canister transport to Voya Nui. He is currently conspiring with Reidak to capture the Mask of Life and strand the other Piraka afterwards.
