Makoki Stones The Makoki Stones have some connection to The Mask of Light. The Toa Hordika are currently on a quest to find 6 Makoki Stones that somehow lead to the MOL. The connection is not entirely clear. The Toa Hagah obtained the Mask of Light (and became Rahaga in the process) and apparently hid it somewhere, and the Makoki Stones would unlock a chamber to it. The Toa Metru (they were healed by Keetongu) would later bring the Makoki Stones to the island of Mata Nui, where, one thousand years later, another group of Toa would use them to open a tunnel under the Kini-Nui which led to Makuta's lair.
Toa Stones The Toa Stones are a set of six artifacts that contain the traditional elemental energies of the Toa. The first known Toa stones were infused with Toa Lhikan's power, and created the Toa Metru. The Toa Metru later created their own Toa Stones, which were gathered by Takua and summoned the Toa 'Mata' to Mata Nui.
Nuva Symbols After the Toa 'Mata' became the Toa Nuva, they received special stone symbols of their powers. These symbols, when kept in their suvas, would maintain the Nuva elemental powers. The symbols were stolen by the Bohrok Kal, so they could be used on the special lock on the Bahrag's prison. The Kal were undone by the symbols when the Toa fed their power into the Kals' shield tools, causing them to overload. The symbols were recovered, and either returned to the villages or absorbed into the Toa Nuva.
Nuva Cube A mysterious lock that appeared in the cavern of the Bahrag. It has six sides, each of which matches a different Toa Nuva symbol. If the symbols were put into the place, the Bahrag's prison would be undone. The cube was guarded by the Exo Toa, and is presumably still in the Bahrag's cavern.
Toa Disks Each Toa has a Toa Disk, which confirms their status as well as their power. The Toa Disks can unleash the same power as their assigned Toa.
Rahi
- Keetongu-Rhotuka Spinner of Countering, Rahi Blade, Ball Hammer

Staffs The Matoran and the Turaga, lacking the tools of the Toa, rely on staff weapons. Each Wahi has a different standard staff, and some are shared among the Matoran. Among the staffs are:
Tridents: Ga-Koro
Great Stone Hammers: Po-Koro
Firestaffs: Ta-Koro
Great Ice Picks: Ko-Koro
Onua's Drills: Onu-Koro
Kau-Kau Staffs: Le-Koro
Kolhii Sticks: All Koro
Disks Unlike the Kanoka of Metru Nui, the disks of Mata Nui have no powers. They are also made of bamboo, rather than protodermis. However, they are still useful for driving off Rahi beasts. Disks are used in Le-Koro to test accuracy.
