November Eve - Samhain | | November Eve - Samhain: October 31 - November Eve -
Samhain | | October 31 - November Eve - Samhain Samhain means 'summer's end', for now nights lengthen, winter begins, and we work with the positive aspects of the dark tides. In the increasing starlight and moonlight, we hone our divinatory and psychic skills. Many Craft traditions, and the ancient Celts, consider this New Year's Eve. It is the one night when the veil that separates our world from the next is at its thinnest, allowing the dead to return to the world of the living, to be welcomed and feasted by their kin. The Christian religion adopted this theme as 'All Saints Day' or 'All Hallows Day' (Nov. 1), celebrating the eve as 'All Hallows Eve' or 'Halloween'. The alternative date of November 6 ('Martinmas' or 'Old Hallows') is sometimes employed by Covens. | | | Spiritual, Spirituality, Spiritual Practices, Spiritual Traditions, Beliefs, Religions, Body Mind Soul, Body, Mind Spirit, Halloween, Paganism, Pagan, Mysticism, Religious Traditions, Traditions, Spiritual Rituals, , Witchcraft Belief, Witchcraft Beliefs, Witchcraft Practice, Witchcraft Practices, Witchcraft Philosophy, Witchcraft Worship, Wicca Belief, Wicca Beliefs, Wicca Practice, Wicca Practices, Wicca Philosophy, Wicca Worship, Witchcraft Ritual, Witchcraft Rituals, Witchcraft Ceremony, Witchcraft Ceremonies, Witchcraft Rite, Witchcraft Rites, Wicca Ritual, Wicca Rituals, Wicca Ceremony, Wicca Ceremonies, Wicca Rite, Wicca Rites, Celts, Celtic, Celts, Celtic, Wicca, Wiccan, Witch, Witchcraft, Facts about Wicca, Fact about Wicca, Information on Wicca, Article on Wicca, Articles on Wicca, Wicca Mythology, Wicca History, Wicca Teachings, Wicca Practice, Wicca Practices, Wicca Philosophy, Info on Wicca, Wicca Religion, Wicca Belief, Wicca Beliefs, Facts about Wiccan, Fact about Wiccan, Information on Wiccan, Article on Wiccan, Articles on Wiccan, Wicca Wiccan, Wiccan History, Wiccan Teachings, Wiccan Practice, Wiccan Practices, Wiccan Philosophy, Info on Wiccan, Wiccan Religion, Wiccan Belief, Wiccan Beliefs, Facts about Witchcraft, Fact about Witchcraft, Information on Witchcraft, Article on Witchcraft, Articles on Witchcraft, Witchcraft Witchcraft, Witchcraft History, Witchcraft Teachings, Witchcraft Practice, Witchcraft Practices, Witchcraft Philosophy, Info on Witchcraft, Witchcraft Religion, Witchcraft Belief, Witchcraft Beliefs, Wiccan Holidays, Wicca Holidays, Witchcraft Holidays, Pagan Holidays | | |
