Mohammed Burhanuddin - Ambassador Of Peace

Mohammed Burhanuddin has been widely acknowledged by many governments and NGOs for promoting peace in the world and spreading the message of brotherhood and respect for humanity. Wherever he travels, he makes it a point to emphasize to his followers the importance of respect and love for the country of which they are citizens. He has been recognized wherever he has traveled as an Ambassador of Peace and a true embodiement of Islam. He also emphasizes brotherhood and friendship amongst all religions around the world.

As per the directions of the then President of the United Arab Republic, Gammal Abdel Nasser, Al Azhar University conferred the Degree of Islamic Sciences (Honoris Causa) to Burhanuddin on 13 March 1966.

On 17 October 1966 Aligarh Muslim University, conferred on Burhanuddin a Doctorate of Theology at a special convocation.

In June 2004 Dr. Burhanuddin was conferred a Doctorate of Literature (Honoris Causa) by the Governor of [Karachi] at a special convocation ceremony held at the Karachi University.

Dr. Burhanuddin has also been honoured by the highest civilian ranks of Jordan and Egypt.

In August 2005, Dr. Burhanuddin inaugurated another new mosque in the United States - in Fremont, California (metropolitan San Francisco) and was congratulated by various officials and dignitaries from local, state and the United States governments. President George W. Bush also congratulated him in a letter from the White House[1]. Also present were officials from various religious organizations from the local community.
