Before Land of the Dead, this series is also known as the "Unholy Dead Trilogy" by some fans.

A remake of Night of the Living Dead was made in 1990, with a screenplay by George A. Romero. A remake Dawn of the Dead was also made in 2004, and another remake called Night of the Living Dead 3-D is scheduled for a 2006 release. George A Romero was not invloved in either of these productions.
