Lazaris

Lazaris is self-described as a "multi-leveled consciousness", a nonphysical entity allegedly channelled through Jach Pursel. He first began communication through Jach on 3 October 1974, although he made initial contact with him earlier that year. Allegedly, Lazaris had been preparing Jach for several human lifetimes for the channelling. Lazaris claimed his primary purpose was to communicate with Peny North, which he often did before her accidental death from an overdose of codeine and aspirin in May of 2001.

Lazaris discusses what some might term standard 'New Age' ideas and methods, such as the Goddess, crystals, creating your own reality and the like. Sometimes, the material may seem bizarre to those unfamiliar with it, with such claims as "Lazaris uses the Four Elements -- Air, Water, Earth, and Fire -- and combines them with the Four Forces -- Gravity, Electromagnetism, Strong Force and Weak Force -- as a means to release our dreams and visions into the world," or, "Lazaris begins this extraordinary tape with a discussion of the Opening of the Sirius Vortex on April 23, 1994, and the impact it has had on resonant causation, future causation, and brain chemistry and mechanics -- in short, how everything is different now. Lazaris talks about the importance of resolving past issues so they do not find their way into the future, and outlines a plethora of techniques for working with the energy of Sirius -- the star system which is also the Vortex of the Goddess."

Lazaris - Origins

Lazaris does not inhabit the body of Pursel, but allegedly uses him as something of a psychic receiver. Lazaris purports to exist "far beyond the Mental and Causal Planes", and to be the only entity from his "level of awareness" that has, or ever will, make contact with Earth. Despite this, Lazaris refuses any title of leadership and refers to those he makes contact with as "friends" instead of "followers".
