Khaneqah |  | Khaneqah: Encyclopedia - Khaneqah |  | A khaneqah (also written Khanqa,Khaneqa) is traditionally a building designed specifically for gatherings of the Sufi brotherhood.
Most Khaneqahs originated in the 11th or 12th centuries as Sufism spread through Central Asia.
