Group A streptococcal infection - Types of infection
Infections are largely categorized by the location of infection:
- strep throat -- pharynx
- scarlet fever -- upper body
- impetigo, cellulitis, and erysipelas -- skin and underlying tissues
- bacteremia -- bloodstream
