Golden Age Foundation
Golden Age Foundation founded by Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma is an Indian based, secular, socio-spiritual organization committed to the transformation of mankind to an altered state of consciousness thus ushering humanity into its next phase of evolution in terms of consciousness.
This movement was inspired by the noble vision of its founders to liberate Man from all kinds of suffering by bestowing the highest benediction, Enlightenment or the state of Oneness. Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma claim themselves as the Avatars for enlightenment. The vision of this foundation is to enlighten all of humankind before 2012. To accomplish this vision, it has a target of directly enlightening 0.0001% of world population (which comes around 64,000). It claims that once it has reached this critical mass then it is very natural and very much easy for rest of the humanity to enter Oneness state based on the morphogenetic fields. The way it is made possible is through so called "Deeksha" - transfer of cosmic energy. ["Deeksha" is a sanskrit word which usually refers to initiation whose purpose is to free the obstacles, which obstructs in the Awakening of Consciousness]. Comments on Deeksha by Sri Bhagavan himself - "The mind of man is like a wall which divides man from God. The deeksha is an electrical energy that makes a hole in this wall, which we call the mind. Once this happens, then God and man can come to relate to each other." It is said that when a deeksha is given a neurobiological process takes place in the brain. Bhagavan refers to this process as ‘divine surgery’ where certain parts of the brain become activated and other parts are deactivated, enabling us to experience cosmic realities and oneness.
Golden Age Foundation has its headquarters at Varadaiahpalem, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh which is around 70 kms North West to Chennai. Golden age foundation conducts various programmes, whose names, nature and purposes keep on changing with time but said to have a sole target of enlightening man kind. At present the programmes held are Phala Deeksha and Vara Deeksha. Phala Deeksha, is a 3 day retreat which is aimed at clearing all hurdles and blocks that might crop up in one’s material or spiritual progress where as Vara deeksha is a one day process where varas(boons) are said to be granted to the seekers. There is a specific program meant for youth which runs for 6 days, designed to activate their latent brain potentials leading to the flowering of intelligence and their heart. We also find separate program for international people. All these programmes are made possible by establishing a university by name, Oneness University.
There is a masive construction going on (soon would be finished) under the name "Shakthi Sthal" (verbally translated as "Place full of energy") or Oneness Temple or Golden city.
Completion of this Sthal is considered to be a very important milestone in the way to its goal of enlightening whole human race. When speaking about the importance of this structure Sri Bhagavan says the following. "There are certain energy lines flowing on the earth called grid lines. These grid lines can be measured by a special instrument known as the Laker antenna. We have done a lot of work on this and have found out that when your chakras rotate at 33 times per second, then you become enlightened. We have also discovered that by making the grid lines vibrate, we can make the chakras rotate at that particular speed. After scanning a number of places, we have discovered this place- the Golden City and some of the major gridlines are surfacing from this place. It is here that we are building the temple. After 64,000 people are enlightened, thousands of them would come there, sit there and they would be meditating. So when that happens, let us say, among the 64,000 who have made it, 6 thousand or 7 thousand people would be meditating in those halls, the remaining would be giving Deeksha in the world. So their Deeksha would be very powerful, because these groups are meditating here. These grid lines will in turn affect the chakras taking you into different states." It is supposed that at this juncture the morphogenitic field comes into picture.
