Feng Shui: Synchronizing Energies with Feng Shui

Synchronizing Energies

Feng shui is about "synchronicity." Being in sync with the natural patterns of energy is like focusing a picture. Everything becomes clear. You understand who you are, you know what your purpose in life is, and you realize how to deal with problems. The different elements of your life comes into place - you are better able to pursue your goals, meet the right people, and be in the right place at the right time. Feng shui lets your existence take on a new force.

Feng Shui: Synchronizing Energies with Feng Shui

By Jenny Liu

Synchronizing Energies

Last month, Susan, a screenwriter, calls and tells me that for the past three years, things just have not gone right for her and her husband, Dan. She has been reading about feng shui and moved some things around in her apartment, but it has not made things better. In fact, she started having nightmares. In one of her dreams, someone tells her to seek professional help.

I explain to her that in feng shui, everything is made of energy - that the energies created by her, her apartment, her environment and the planets all come together in a way that produces certain causes and effects. By moving things around, people are unknowingly setting off chain reactions that can have positive or adverse effects on them. Based on the laws of nature, feng shui is about how people relate to their environment. It is a philosophy that shows us how to create living spaces that helps us realize our potentials.

From their birthdays, Susanen, an earth element associated with the northeast. Their frequencies belong to the Western Direction Patterns and are strongest when aligned with the west, northwest, southwest and northeast. They want to avoid being aligned with conflicting frequencies of the Eastern Direction Patterns (north, south, southeast and east).

Unfortunately, their apartment unithich brings defeating frequencies into their home. Looking at the floor plan and my feng shui compass, their bedroom was located in the southeast quadrant. Being of the metal and earth elements, Susan and Dan slept in a direction associated with the wood element that weakens their energies - Susan had stomach problems and Dan often suffered insomnia. There was also a large and tall cabinet at the foot of their bed that constricted their bodyelocate their bedroom, I recommended that they paint their bedroom a golden, yellow or white color to strengthen their metal and earth energies. Aside from creating a more positive environment, it is also important that they meditate, exercise and eat a balanced diet to reinforce their mental and physical health. I told them that feng shui is one aspect of being prosperous and successful, if they do not know how to deal with stress and illness properly, it is difficult to be excel in life.

As we walked from her bedroom to her office, she asked if her desk orientation would affect her work. "Orientation is a one part of feng shui," I told her. Being of the western metal element, Susanid some of her best work in the dining room which happens to be in the northeast part of her house. Her office, however, is located in the southwest corner. "You can not be productive and focused in this room," I pointed out that her desk faces south and she has her back to the door. Being aligned with south or fire frequencies hurts gives you a lot of stress and headaches, and not being able to see who is coming from behind is an annoying distraction. I told her to turn her desk around and face the door where northeast energy enters. She should also paint the room a golden or yellow color to promote her metal energies and place an inspirational image such as her guiding spirit behind her.

A few days later, I returned to review Susanhe had made. With a new glow about her, Susan tells me that she feels infused with new energy and people at work have commented on Danxplains that she meditates daily and is highly receptive to energy changes. Looking at Susanas compounded by the poor energies of her apartment. She had many arguments, was not getting paid for her work, and was in two car accidents. However, her energies are beginning to pick up and only gets better with age. With this awareness and her apartment adjusted with feng shui, she will be able to better deal with the potholes in the road ahead.
