Ganesh
Chaturthi is one of the most popular of Hindu festivals. This is the birthday
of Lord Ganesha. It is the day most sacred to Lord Ganesha. It falls on the 4th
day of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada (August-September). It is observed

 | | | 4th: Distant HealingIn my work with in-person and distant healing,
I've noticed a huge distinction between ordinary chi, ki, or prana, and that
which is governed by the soul and kundalini energies. The universe isn't simply
composed of a roiling ocean of prana-there are differing frequencies. From the
relative prana to that prana which exists nearest the absolute, the energy is
more refined on evolved levels of existence.

 | | | 4th: ET Souls and the New AgeIn
describing ET Souls, I often use the terms "Walk-ins" and
"Wanderers" (this second group is also called "Star
People," "Star Born," or "Star Children"). Although
their higher-dimensional origins and life-purpose is often the same, what
distinguishes them is how they took birth in human form.

Dictionary on Alexandrian School
Alexandrian School Alexandria flourished from the 4th century BC to the 7th AD, being a remarkable center of learning due to the blending of Greek and Oriental influences, its favorable situation and commercial resources, and the enlightened energy of some of the Macedonian Dynasty of the Ptolemies ruling over Egypt. The Alexandrian school was formed of the Neoplatonist philosophers whose appearance marks the later outburst of Alexandrian culture; and with them may perhaps be classed those Gnostic schools which originated there. This philosophy is a characteristic presentation of parts of the archaic wisdom-religion, being derived from contact with India and with knowledge still then accessible in Egypt. The Macedonian rulers had established here one of the most famous centers of learning known to history including a museum and a library with its famous collections of books; and the injury done to this center of learning and philosophy by various Roman potentates and Moslem invaders was a disaster for ensuing ages.

Dictionary on All Saints' Day, All-Hallows, Hallowmas
All Saints' Day, All-Hallows, Hallowmas (Halloween) A festival originally on the first of May, said to have been instituted for the martyrs in European countries about the 4th or 5th centuries. In the 7th century, Pope Boniface instituted it on May 13 to replace a pagan festival of the dead. In 834 the day was moved to November 1st by Gregory III and was then celebrated for all the saints. The Greek Church celebrates it on the first Sunday after Pentecost. Closely connected with the celebration was the keeping of the preceding evening, known as the vigil of Hallowmas or Halloween. This was especially kept in Scotland and in Brittany, France. In Scotland an important item was the lighting of a bonfire at each house. The Celts kept two festivals, one called Beltane (Bealtine or Beiltine) in which fires were lighted on the eve of May 1st, and the other called Samtheine on the eve of November 1st, in which people jumped over two fires placed very close together. "The Druids understood the meaning of the Sun in Taurus, therefore, when, while all the fires were extinguished on the 1st of November, their sacred and inextinguishable fires alone remained to illumine the horizon, like those of the Magi and the modern Zoroastrians" (SD 2:759). The Germanic nations had their Osterfeuer and Johannisfeuer.

Spiritual Theosophical
Dictionary on
Suffism
Suffism (Ancient Greek). From the root of Sophia, "Wisdom ". A mystical sect in Persia something like the Vedantins; though very strong in numbers, none but very intelligent men join it. They claim, and very justly, the possession of the esoteric philosophy and doctrine of true Mohammedanism. The Suffi (or Sofi) doctrine is a good deal in touch with Theosophy, inasmuch as it preaches one universal creed, and outward respect and tolerance for every popular exoteric faith. It is also in touch with Masonry. The Suffis have four degrees and four stages of initiation:1st, probationary, with a strict outward observance of Mussulman rites, the hidden meaning of each ceremony and dogma being explained to the candidate; 2nd, metaphysical training; 3rd, the "Wisdom" degree, when the candidate is initiated into the innermost nature of things; and 4th final Truth, when the Adept attains divine powers, and complete union with the One Universal Deity in ecstacy or Samadhi.

Energetic Patterns Of Dis-Ease
Disease,
when looked at clairvoyantly, takes on very specific shapes and sizes in the
muscles, glands and organs of the physical and energetic body. Although
diseases can be classified as being similar or under the same
"umbrella," they carry very distinct energetic patterns that are
instantly discernible to a keen observer.

is Love - about the lower chakrasChakras: The Subject is Love
How does love, springing
from a divine source, become misguided in so many ways? How did we fall into
such animalistic forms of love? Some understanding of our subtle anatomy is
necessary at this point. We are all engaged in five types of work in our life, corresponding
to our five lowest centers (chakras): maintaining our physical survival (first
chakra - money), ensuring the continuation of the human race (second chakra -
sex), providing fuel for the physical vehicle (third chakra - food), developing
our emotional life (fourth chakra - heart), acquiring a set of philosophical
and religious principles to guide our life (fifth chakra - throat). These 5
lower chakras constitute the kingdom of delusion, illusion and error.

VedasVasthu
in The Vedas
Each Veda has a
subsidiary: ayurveda (knowledge of life) for rgveda, dhanurveda (knowledge of
tools and weapon) for yajurveda, gandharvaveda (knowledge of arts) for samaveda
and sthapatyaveda (architecture) for atharvaveda. In addition, puranas,
nyayasastras, mimamsas and dharma sastras (smrtis) are also considered as
upangas. Sthapatyaveda which is the subsidiary of atharvaveda is the subject of
this discussion. Because it is the subsidiary of Veda, its authority is clear
and undisputed.
