1873: 2004 - The Third Night by Ian Xel Lungold
Predictions for 2004 based on the Mayan Calendar. This article by Ian Lungold, based on new revelations pertaining to the Mayan calendar, seems to fit in well with other predictions for the coming year. If this year is truly part of an accelerating galactic cycle to pay off karmic debts, we may see quite a few earth-shaking events taking place worldwide, in every sense of the word, politically as well as geophysically. There could be tightening of controls, even as hidden closets begin to get cleaned out. With increasing solar flares and tectonic plate activity, there could also be increased earthquake and volcanic activity worldwide.

The period from December 10 2003 through December 4 2004 will be the greatest test that humanity has ever faced. It is at this time that the Law of Karma goes extinct. That is to say that all Karmic debts shall be paid in full during this Galactic cycle.

1873: Alternative Health Dictionary on Biorhythm

biorhythm: scientific method developed separately by Viennese psychology professor Dr. Herman Swoboda (1873-1963) and Berlin physician William Fliess (1859-1928).

It is a means of predicting human conditions and susceptibilities. Its principle is that three fundamental biological cycles (biorhythms) are calculable from the date of one's birth.

Swoboda and Fliess posited two cycles:

(1)           a physical cycle of 23 days, predictive of one's level of strength, coordination, immunity, and self-confidence; and

(2)           a sensitivity cycle of 28 days, predictive of emotional changes.

In the 1920s, Austrian engineer Dr. Alfred Teltscher posited a third cycle, 33 days long and predictive of intellectual performance.

According to proponents, vital energy is high on positive days and relatively low on negative days. George S. Thommen popularized biorhythm in Is This Your Day? (1973).

1873: Mysticism Magick Dictionary on GURDJIEFF, GEORGE IVANOVICH

GURDJIEFF, GEORGE IVANOVICH

Born 1873 or 1877, died 1949. Founder  of the Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man. Taught that the  average man is asleep and must continually be awakened. Also, in order to  become a master of oneself, one must become a magician. His system of  octaves revealed that every activity is divided into 8 stages, like the  musical scale. We fail because we flag and wilt with the weaker notes and  do not try to come back in with the stronger succeeding notes. Views  from the Real World, which was written by his disciples, is probably better than his own writings at explaining his teachings.

1873: The Living Tradition of Sahaj Marg

Sahaja Yoga: The Living Tradition of Sahaj Marg

The Raja Yoga system known as "Sahaj Marg" is still relatively obscure in the West, even among Yoga aficionados. This is largely due to the fact that Sahaj Marg has been a low-key, word-of-mouth practice. Works by the lineage of Sahaj Marg Masters, published under the auspices of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), are difficult to locate, and beyond the abhyasis or practitioners of Sahaj Marg, few are aware that SRCM centers have been established worldwide since the Mission was founded in India fifty years ago.

QWERTY (pronounced "kwerty" or "Q-werty") is the most common modern-day keyboard layout on most English language computer and typewriter keyboards.
